Chris Wiggs, the creative mind behind the iconic toy line Polly Pocket, has passed away at the age of 74. Wiggs, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of neurological cancer, died peacefully at his home in France surrounded by his loved ones.
Originally from East London, Wiggs came up with the idea for Polly Pocket while in New York on business in 1983. His invention quickly became a favorite among children, with its portable dreamhouse capturing the imaginations of kids all over the world.
