In a heartwarming display of quick thinking and bravery, nurse Claire Cerbie recently saved the life of a 63-year-old man who was having a heart attack at an airport in North Carolina.
Cerbie, who was waiting to board her morning flight, noticed the man, Ken Jeffries, in distress and immediately sprang into action. With the help of other kind-hearted individuals, Cerbie performed CPR on Jeffries until emergency medical personnel arrived. Thanks to their efforts, Jeffries was rushed to the hospital where doctors were able to open an artery that was 80% blocked.
Thanks to Cerbie’s fast response and expert care, Jeffries not only survived the heart attack but is now on the road to recovery. This heartwarming story serves as a reminder of the importance of being prepared to act in times of crisis and the incredible difference that ordinary people can make in the lives of others.
