On day one of training at law enforcement agencies, military branches, and military colleges and academies, future service members undergo rigorous and demanding experiences to prepare them for their roles. From Navy Boot Camp to Marine Corps Boot Camp, Coast Guard Boot Camp, and Army Boot Camp, recruits are pushed to their limits physically and mentally. The process includes drills, exercises, and challenges designed to build discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
As new recruits navigate through the intense training, they also learn about the core values and principles that guide their respective branches of service. From the Border Patrol Boot Camp to the Secret Service Boot Camp, cadets are exposed to the unique demands and responsibilities of their future roles in protecting and serving the country. At West Point, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Air Force Academy, Virginia Military Institute, and The Citadel, future officers undergo a similar process of physical and academic training to prepare them for leadership roles in the military.
Whether it’s enduring the grueling challenges of Air Assault School or facing the demands of the first 100 yards at Army Boot Camp, new recruits are pushed to their limits from day one. These experiences help shape them into strong, disciplined, and dedicated service members ready to serve their country with honor and pride. Through the Boot Camp Marathon, viewers get a glimpse into the intense and transformative journey that Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors go through on the first day of their training.

First, according to many researches, stress lowers cognitive performance.
Yes, thinking under stress is important, but these people won't learn how to think well when not under stress. Like when you are on your military camp before a real combat, you want the leader to be able to plan and organise well and smartly.
Second, why all that shouting and screaming, an honoured man is a strong man with better allegiance.
Shipping out September 17th for Army BCT
When did the U.S. Navy start calling recruit Companies a "Division"?
And why is Army boot camp 22-weeks long, are they getting AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) added onto the backend of Basic?
came here just to leave a dislike. no idea why this channel keeps uploaded the SAME videos over and over. MANDATORY DISLIKE

To everyone in the comments talking about how “unnecessary” and “uncivilized” recruit training is: That’s the entire point. The instructors don’t just yell and scream for the hell of it, it’s by design. They need these recruits (especially those in the Marine Corps and Army) to be able to function in highly stressful and chaotic environments such as a combat zone. If they don’t learn how to operate in such environments, they will shut down and not be able to function and complete their mission when and if that time comes. Combat is ugly, and your leaders are not going to hold your hand and politely ask you to load your machine gun or grab the extra ammo when grenades are exploding and people are actively shooting at you.
I find it funny how the military pays its privates $20k/year, but Virginia Military Institute charges $60k/year in tuition. Sums up the American dream pretty well.
I graduated Oscar 128 in 1988 from Coast Guard boot camp in Cape May, NJ.
You left out some services in the title…
You’re telling me they play a game for the first day of boot camp?
Ditty bag is crazy no matter how you spell it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Coast Guard is cute.
lol, that Soldier holding the duffel bag at the beginning of the Army basic training was one of my Soldiers.
This is shit.
Does border patrol really need a boot camp type of initiation? 😂 It’s a bit cringe because it’s like regular border patrol agents screaming about nothing.
All that screaming is not stressful, is just stupid and annoying. Is this supposed to be intimidating? I'd be expelled on the first day, because I would laugh at their faces.
Excuse me, but where is the Marines bit???? Did we get the Secret Service & Coastguard instead?? Or am I just a thick Brit??
