Russia and China have issued a strong warning in response to reports of the potential deployment of U.S. missiles in Japan. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that both countries will react, not just politically, if such a move takes place. This comes as the U.S. expressed interest in deploying a Typhon mid-range missile system to Japan for joint military exercises, according to Japan Times.
Zakharova emphasized that Russia’s partnership with China is not directed against any specific country, but the two nations could join forces to defend against aggression if necessary. This sentiment aligns with the agreement reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in May to deepen their comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation.
In a demonstration of their military capabilities, the Russian Defence Ministry released video footage of anti-submarine warships and aircraft from the Northern Fleet conducting exercises in the Barents Sea. These activities are part of the extensive “Ocean 2024” naval drills, which mark the largest such operation in post-Soviet Russia.
With tensions rising over the potential deployment of missiles in Japan, the statements from Russia and China serve as a clear message that they are prepared to respond to any perceived threats. The show of unity between the two nations underscores their commitment to safeguarding their interests and deterring aggression in the region. As the situation continues to develop, it remains to be seen how the U.S. will proceed and how Russia and China will react in turn.

Yap…yap…bark..bark…..little doggy
Screwed up US foreign policy got us here. There's no longer any global order. Great powers are expected to roam anywhere when the global order is extremely corrupted. Washington is largely to blame for this. Expect a fully nuclear armed Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba. US got what it wanted. Just ball-up and live with it, Colonel Biden, will ya?
Ooohhhh Booga-booga, Tehran news gave us what for…… The Russian military is a bit under the weather recently, or perhaps Tehran news Canada didn't notice?
Russia speaks for china now do they
We are witnessing and being proven that all the democracy, freedom, respect of other nations sovereignties and International humanitarian laws by the UN and western countries are not but an illusion. Can never trust a word from them
NATO has terrible psychological methods, other countries utilize psychology more in wars and it works
So basically they are saying that Russia and China will cooperate with each other in that part of the pacific where it borders their countries. Seems reasonable.
Could this be a Russian Red line?
React with what? 90% of Russian forces are decimated. They had to beg for missiles from Iran and North Korea and pay with goats and horses. 😂😂😂
ww3 is closer and closer…
So what? They are going to react either way…

The us couldn't even succeed in Afghanistan….
It makes sense. I doubt Japan will get involved anyway. Because this isn't their war. China and Russia have already made a point of where they align with its recent naval drills.
Go ahead then react and we will hand that too. We are not afraid of paper dragons in the west. China can’t even build a building without it crumbling let alone a military that has never been used. The west has a hardened military that is very efficient. So go ahead.

The United States, as a participant in the Allied intervention during the Russian Civil War of 1918, was forced to withdraw its troops after being unable to achieve the target of empowering the anti-Bolshevik "White" forces to fight against "Red" Bolshevism in Russia. In the aftermath of the First World War, the Allied forces launched a multi-national expedition with the initial target to aid the Czechoslovak Legion to secure its trade position in the Russian ports, as well as to strengthen their Eastern Front. However, the Allied forces had to retreat when factors like a lack of
domestic support, dilution of initial goals, and war-weariness started to turn the mission of Allied intervention into an unsuccessful one. Ultimately, the Reds defeated the Whites.

Russia with Chinas name in its mouth trying to convince the world that they're best friends as a posturing move. NATO would obliterate Russia if it came down to it. This wouldn't be an artillery war like the one they have going in Ukraine. It would be over relatively quick once the US and allies established Air superiority.
Russia is the enemy
How is Russia going to react? They going to send some naval ships to Japan…..oh wait they don't have any more.
Japan wanna be a Christmas 🎄, let there be lights.
Russia is winning the war.
Another red line
"Россия и Китай будут реагировать…". Not satisfied with her own "red line", now she claims also to know what China will do. Give that lady a tin of red paint: it will save her so much time.

You can now clearly see who’s causing the trouble. I doubt any Asian country would be pleased with this—they’re essentially re-arming Japan. I’m not even sure South Korea is comfortable with it. Well done, Team USA, but let's hope this doesn’t turn out like Afghanistan.
