Merry Xmas.. thanks for you documenting over the years. source of pleasure to watch and resource for countries to go visit.
Wonderful upload big thumbs up here cheers 👉👉👍👍🤗🤗
Sayulita is a surfing village that was on the womens pro tour for many years
You should only use BANK ATMs actually at a bank lobby!!! most of them will provide you with your balance for free on the printed receipt and you should always decline the conversion and then they will give you the govt exchange rate, in PV the usual fee is between $2 & $5 USD unless you happen to be a customer of the bank like HSBC which is very common throughout Mexico and PV
Hey Gabriel, what is the name of the restaurant that is owned by the Oregonion?
Merry Christmas Gabe.
Mexico doesn't want poor tourists; the financial solvency just increased significantly to qualify for residency.
I love listening to his mispronouncing Spanish words.
I've said it before, and I still think you should partner with Bedrock Sandals and be a brand ambassador and get some free sandals sent to you in exchange for featuring them on your youtube channel.
Considering all the countries that you visit, I think that Mexico and India are the ones that "click" the most with you. I agree, Mexico used to be so cheap, not anymore.
Merry christmas🎄
Good beach tips. Good money & travel tips. 😀😀😀
Well done, Gabriel!
Are there crocodiles on the beach ???
Gabriel…I love your channel. Cinematography…narration and history is exceptional. Gracias and have a nice holiday!
I was reading about the riptides in winter in Vietnam and knew I would likely not be doing any swimming in the ocean if visiting there. I wondered why you had no fear in Greece in swimming in those remote locations.
expensive shit hole
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville!!!
@gabrieltraveler at timestamp 17:18 you can see a woman butt from under skirt, might remove that lil bit… otherwise yt might demonitize the video
Really nice beach, thanks! In your adventures trips, did you ever consider to visit the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador?
I'm going back to greece in may! can't wait. Mexico one day…
These series of California, Canada and Mexico are really great. Merry Christmas, Gabe. Keep travelling…
What about a Wise account. Multiple currencies and very low conversion fee. I wouldn't be without it. There's also Revolut. Not sure if these are available in the USA though? I'm in the UK
Viva Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤
As much as I love The PV area.. sayulita is one spot i avoid, overrun ..dirty..I say it's filled with 6 figure hippies lol… Have a fantastic Christmas 🎄 no matter where you land
Hi Gabriel. I’m a long time traveler since the 80s and have grown to love Mexico.
However I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Sayulita and always hear different opinions on the Norovirus due to the sewage problems. I’ve gotten sick on several occasions due to this virus. Do you have any thoughts on this? I’ve heard it’s mostly after a rain? Is the town doing anything about it? I try to avoid the main beach and swim where you were hiking. Although the Noro is so contagious that you get it from the restaurants/bars as well. Any thoughts?
BEST to go to a regular private bank ATM like Scotia, Santander, HSBC with your foreign debit card —- Those PRIVATE ATM's are only there for one reason, to rip you off
You can also use a WISE card
once a sleepy chill place is now another tourist trap.
Mexico has become noticeably more expensive after the pandemic. There are still good deals to be found, but prices have been on the rise. Eating out in the tourist area pretty much cost the same as eating out in the US. Also, in addition to Schwab, Fidelity also offers refunds on all international and domestic ATM fees.
Great that you are back there
Hey Gabriel! I've always wondered, why does Harald Baldr always call you "Gabriel high roller"? I never understood that because you usually stay in budget hotels and accommodations. Much love from Alabama!
Bonjour monsieur
Have tou looked into revolut?
Fidelity refunds fees too.
Headed to Bucerias from Toronto for the winter in two weeks. Thanks sooooo much! I gave you a hiking suggestion last time but you gave me a better one! I will do this one for sure. I looove Sayulita (but San Pancho is my favourite).
37:00 is that the same location as mentioned in the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption?
You will never get the exchange rate that Xe quotes. That is between banks. Will get about 95 or 96% of that. Check your bank account. The $197 will actually be around $205. Maybe more from that little atm. I live in PV and use Santander ATM in their bank. Best in PV. I’ve tried them all. Charge $34 pesos to use machine and give the best exchange rate after declining.
Use the ATM in the bank. Get best exchange rate.
Merry Christmas Gabe 👍
Wow. Nice hike, nice info
What hike was that?
For us who live here full time, that beach in Sayulita is known as a Sewage Beach because they dumped all their sewage just a few hundred feet out into the water from the beach with the city sewer drain pipe.
