Piers Gibbon, a voiceover artist and amateur ethnobotanist, embarks on a journey deep into the Amazon rainforest in search of chacruna, a plant said to unlock the secrets of life when combined with ayahuasca.
He seeks guidance from shamans, enduring challenging rituals and intense hallucinogenic experiences. Along the way, he confronts his own ego and limitations, ultimately finding a deeper connection with himself and the natural world.
