President Biden’s appearance at the official White House Fourth of July celebration left many scratching their heads as he stumbled through his remarks and appeared confused at times. The 81-year-old president greeted the crowd with a hearty “Ho ho ho! Happy Independence Day,” leaving many puzzled by his choice of words.
Joined on stage by Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, Biden’s speech was filled with odd gaffes and misstatements. Despite appearing more energetic than in previous appearances, his statements were still lacking in coherence.
The event, meant to celebrate America’s independence, turned into a spectacle of sorts as the president struggled to stay on track during his speech. Harris introduced Biden as “extraordinary,” but his performance left much to be desired.
