Morgan Wallen Arrested On Felony Charges After Allegedly Throwing A Chair | Billboard News
Country singer Morgan Wallen found himself in hot water yet again, this time for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a building in downtown Nashville. The incident occurred just days after he kicked off his 2024 One Night at a Time tour.
According to reports, Wallen was arrested on three felony charges, including reckless endangerment, and one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Witnesses claimed that the chair he threw landed dangerously close to two police officers who were outside the bar where the incident took place.
After reviewing security footage and speaking with witnesses, authorities confirmed Wallen’s alleged actions and subsequently arrested him. He was later released from jail after posting a bond of $5,250.
This is not the first time Wallen has found himself in trouble with the law, as he previously faced backlash for using a racial slur in a video that went viral in 2021. Despite this latest incident, Wallen is set to appear in court on May 3rd, the same day his tour is scheduled to continue.
