Yea I’ll just do road trips this year
It's al about money today. Will avoid Boeing
What absolute bulls*it ! ! ! 99% of the time it's the fuel pressure diff switch, of a dirty connector ! Report the facts. And ! Boeings don't have ECAM, they have EICAS. Shame on you all. .
That is the fault of the refuel-er lacking adequate filtration. Does the article correlate fuel contamination with near total electrical system failure? Don't think so. Actual cause of AI-171 was electrical failure cutting of hydraulic power to retract the gear plainly visible in some of the videos. What cause serious electrical system failure. The ROOT cause!!!
Be careful where to put the blame for the accident. Dragging in two 737 accidents sleepy cockpit crew not disabling automatic elevator trim. Horizontal stab way out of trim actual cause undetected by flight crew not monitoring elevator trim for out of trim condition. Basic stuff.
Shows you that you can't believe youtube
What was the contaminant? Then figure it out.
This video is a load of pony poop!

What the Hell would Boeing be doing looking after filters or fuel ?
Ehhhh……Boeing is DONE. Filter for fuel not performing. I can't believe. The BOEING knew…..didn't do anything. And not a first time.. puting our lives at risk. Knowing undeniable mistakes.
I'll not fly any BOEING JET no more. Goodbye BOEING Jet !!
Boeing won't move until a plane crash strikes in the US.
never ever Boeing!!
Maintenance oil change etc not Boeing’s job but who owns the Boeings Country like India due high corruption easy to escape sincere oil change maintenance cutting cost etc
It is a bit surprising that there is not a way to purge the filter in flight. Yea it means dumping some fuel, an environmental issue, but it would be less fuel and environmental damage than a full fuel dump or the plane crashing and burning.
What this has to with Boeing? This channel???
Buy American fuel not Soviet fuel.
Contaminated fuel is not Boeing s fault…. but asking to fly till both engine fails…..is it your fault…..
what does Boeing have to do with it?
I think it's Air India maintenance it's probably the issue
Air India planes are cursed ever since Tata took over this firm boasting some miracles.
Today's modified airliners are 'Killing Machines' because of it's high maintenance costs and delay time eats into the airline industries profits this is why the Industry takes shortcuts at the expense of many lost lives.
Changes ate coming to this industry that will be much safer than the existing aviation airlines at present similar to alien spaceships that are already more advanced in gravity's engineering.
These space craft will be in abundance and will replace motor vehicles just like the 'horse and cart era was replaced by steam engines and the petrol motor vehicles.
SO BE IT !!!
AMEN!!! AMEN!!! and AMEN!!!
Is sabotage ruled out?
Gravity is the enemy of absolutely everything.
I see a blather of incompetents commenting. WHERE DO WE GET THE FACTS ?? There has been so much bull shit on this topic BUT ONE THING WE CANNOT AVOID A PLANE CRASHED AND THEY ARE NOT SAYING WHY .. … WHO HAS NOT BEEN BOUGHT ?? Are all officials airline whores ???
Not Boeings fault
Think this presentation needs to be fact checked , Boeing isn’t responsible for fuel
What is the likelihood that electrical interruption from main-body sections junction join point/s(AKA-current inspections for assembly joint facing body shells [de-lamination/s] of differing body shell components exceeding 0.004" deviation without shimming) that could have or has precipitated a break in the cabling to the computers and associated control/s shutting down both engines simultaneously causing the crash and dropping of the RAT?
Just an observation from an ex RAAF mechanical fitter.

Exactly (see below). This is a problem which could affect which ever aircraft was filled with the contaminated fuel. Not the Boeing at all. Why do you publish such rubbish?
How is this a Boeing trouble? They do not make or supply fuel, The engine manufactures will stipulate the standard of fuel to be used. After that it is the owners of the aircraft who have the responsibility.
The way these large aerospace companies operate is to hire an inordinate amount of junior level engineers. Typically in the range of 0-5 years of experience. Just look at job openings and you will see exactly this. Many of the senior technical managers have only 5 to 7 years of experience. Not all but a large number. Then you have tons of mangers and executive leadership positions at these conpanies, all of whom are handsomly paid and very few highly skilled engineers. They do exist but there are very few of them and they are typically spread very thin. Those are the people being paid top dollar but the problem is, so few exist. There are dozens and dozens of hands of leadership teams but very few highly skilled engineers. The vast majority are 0-5 year 2nd or 3rd rate junior engineers who are cogs in a wheel. You simply won't find hard core programmers, versed in multi-threading at these legacy Defense and Aerospace companies because they cost too much. The people they hire work with existing cookie cutter pre-existing templates. They don't have to generate much code on their own so deep programming chops are not what they look for when hiring engineers. They just need someone wulling and capable of working within that template. That type of thinking is all well and good until complicated issues arise which require critical thinking and the ability to think outside of the already set up template. They simply don't have the skills to do this and the very few that do have these skills, are spread thinner than a piece of looseleaf paper. You could ask one of the million leaders to try and solve the coding issue but they do not have those types of skills. They exist to supervise, critize, get handsomely paid and cast blame but not solve complex problems. The issues mentioned above are some of the main problems facing legacy aerospace companies today. The best and brightest are taking positions at startup Defense and Aerospace companies and there is no longer a desire to hire more experieced engineers mainly because they cost too much money and may question how the existing cookie cutter template is set up. Leadership wants "Yes man and woman" not people who may question the status quo. The end result is not one of agility but rather one who continues to stumble from one blunder to the next without ever fixing the issue or more importantly, engineering something that works properly from the get go. Regardless of how poorly these planes are made, Boeing is one of two companies who manufacture large commercial aircraft. They have a large backlog of jets so the business will always be there. As such, where is the incentive to change?
why this nonsense is mentioned here! So a BS
Overblown Commentary … good to see that the aircraft responded before problems could happen … thumbs up this time Boeing .
Speculation with respect to cause of crash is at its speak. Fuel contamination due to debri in the fuel tank & due to micro organisms/ high humidity if assumed to reality , there ought to be far too many incidents in tropical countries.
Why is this boeings problem , they don't supply the fuel , more like the fuel suppliers issues
What nonsense! Has nothing to do with Boing
………….48 hours ago…………..
Boeing must repair it's fuel filter systems if they can not . detect bad fuel.
This is a post created by BAD PEOPLE hoping to con low I.Q. people into giving it clicks.
It is NOT Boeings problem to monitor the fuel – it is the CARRIER'S responsibility – the people you bought your plane ticket from, and their ground crew.
Water getting into the fuel is a LONG KNOWN problem, especially in humid climates or at high-humidity parts if the year (i.e. summertime). Kerosene (jet fuel) is a light oil. Oil and water don't mix.
If you buy a new Chevy, is GM responsible for the fuel YOU put into it?
You are here because YOU are part of the problem that exists in politics today – that is, lightly-educated people willing to believe ANY LIE that is put to them if the right buzzwords are included.
There is no hope if people aren't willing, OR DONT KNOW HOW to use routine critical thinking skills that EVERYONE that graduated childhood uses to STAY ALIVE.
FUEL SUPPLIER IS RESPONCIBLE FOR THIS PROBLEM. THERE IS TEST ALSO BEFORE FILLING FUEL. COLOUR TEST BY ONE CAPSULE.
Now Boeing is also responsible for the fuel ?
