Iberia has recently introduced its new A350 ‘NEXT’ Business Class, aiming to change the perception of the airline. In a video documenting a flight from Spain to Colombia, viewers are taken on a journey starting at Iberia’s Velázquez Premium Lounge in Madrid, Terminal 4S, before boarding the sleek A350 aircraft.
The Business Class suite boasts a door for privacy, increased seat width, and plenty of footwell space, giving passengers a comfortable and luxurious experience. The A350 also features rows of Premium Economy seats for those looking for a step up from standard Economy.
During the flight, viewers are treated to a full dinner service and a simple breakfast before landing in Bogota. While the food offerings are decent, there is room for improvement to incorporate more Spanish flavors to truly showcase the airline’s heritage.
Overall, the new A350 and updated cabin elevate Iberia to a new level, but there is still work to be done to infuse more vibrancy, color, and excitement that Spain is known for into the cabin, food, and services. With potential to expand further, Iberia has the opportunity to truly shine in the competitive aviation industry.
