In the United States, the issue of waste management and recycling is a pressing concern, with over $6.5 billion worth of reusable material being thrown away every year. Despite the presence of more than 9,000 recycling programs in the country, the recycling rate has remained stagnant for over a decade. However, there is hope on the horizon as tech companies are now harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and robotics to revolutionize the recycling process.
One such company making strides in this arena is AMP Robotics, which has developed advanced technology to make recycling safer, more efficient, and more widespread. By utilizing AI algorithms, AMP Robotics is able to identify and track waste materials with precision, streamlining the sorting process at Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs). The company’s robotic system, AMP ONE, is making a significant impact in facilities like the one in Cleveland, where it is increasing recycling rates and improving the purity of bales of recyclables.
Through the use of AI and robotics, companies like AMP Robotics are not only addressing the issue of waste management but also contributing to a more sustainable future. With the development of innovative technology, there is hope that the recycling rate in the United States can be raised, reducing the amount of reusable material that goes to waste each year. The integration of robots and AI into the recycling process is a promising step towards a more efficient and environmentally-friendly future.

Wow that's early
Great tech
wow I'm here at the beginning. I love these videos, I always learn so much, and your voices relax me after a stressful day. It's a win win🙂
i still dont get it why "the greatest country of the world – usa" cant do basics like recycling and reduce plastic. its just for the lazy and cheap people that dont want to waste 1minute of their time in a month ? they could earn long term so much money and value for their country..
Fascinating! Thank you!
Also now after having watched the video I wish companies like Coca-Cola was mandated to have recycling centers worldwide or to reuse the amount of recyclable waste they create.
An air pump is not a robot, just because it gets it's input from a sensor. Manufacturers throughout the world have used that kind of feature excessively in all kinds of machines.
I’ve worked as a truck driver picking up garbage whether it be residential or commercial. Residential people can recycle some do the majority is coming from commercial businesses depending on the state do not require them to separate the recyclable commodities. So these machines would benefit the world.
The best thing is not having slave labor at most facilities at these recycling plants. Trust me it’s a job your average person would not do.
Where’s Wall -E when we need him?
Yes keep saying that plastic is recyclable, keep brainwashing people about the "benefits" of recycling plastic
LMao ppl is the problem . look at japan if your ppl have respect and has culture they will be kind to the environment

The earth is Fk'd

Cradle To Grave.
Period.
From the "raw materials producer" that pulls it out of the ground, to the initial manufacturing, ending with cross-cycling, down-cycling, final-cycling, re-cycling, EVERY one needs to have a financial stake in the final dissolution of a product.
Period.

Why do people compare us to South Korea and Germany? They're smaller than us.
Good work. Onwards to a less polluted planet.
