Hurricane Francine has just made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 2 storm, causing mass power outages and prompting the activation of thousands of guardsmen from the Louisiana National Guard to assist in affected areas.
As the storm approached the Gulf Coast, residents braced for impact, preparing for strong winds and heavy rain. With the state already grappling with the aftermath of recent storms, Hurricane Francine added to the challenges faced by communities in Louisiana.
The Louisiana National Guard quickly mobilized to provide essential support and aid to those in need. As power outages spread across the state, the guardsmen worked tirelessly to restore electricity and ensure the safety of residents.
The impact of Hurricane Francine in Louisiana serves as a stark reminder of the destructive power of nature and the importance of being prepared for such disasters. As communities begin the process of recovery and rebuilding, the resilience and strength of the people of Louisiana shine through.
Our thoughts are with those affected by the storm, and we are grateful for the swift response and assistance provided by the Louisiana National Guard during this challenging time.

Francine is in Louisiana to get a mojo hand 😮
I used to live in Morgan City. The City is surrounded by poisonous snakes and alligator-infested swamps… be sure all those creatures will be trying to get into your house…going to be rough for these people
NBC sucks
What didn't know there was a storm and I'm in Florida

City of Tallahassee left yesterday via a reciprocal utility crew agreement. They came over when we had our last hurricane 🌀 and now it’s our turn 😇 to help. Linemen stick together and get the power back on quick. Prayers for LA from Florida
Hope Louisiana is ready for higher insurance premiums.
Here we go again, they told us Francine would come ashore as a mere Category 1 but instead (just as I assumed) it came in even stronger as a Category 2. So sick of the media always downplaying the threat posed by these very dangerous tropical storms; this gaslighting serves nobody except the corrupt politicians. 😑
May God help u all from BARBADOS
Well, my houses flooded
