Safe travels Gabe!
Love that you're here! 🎉
nice
Everything is expensive everywhere now. End of cheap travel completed.
Hi Gabriel, copying my comment from your previous video in case you didn't see. You are now in one of my favourite cities of the world, I try to get there at least twice a year. The parts I least like are the streets around the waterfront, too many girlie bars and overpriced food, but nice for stroll now and again. I prefer a few streets inland, my favourite street 172. Great value food and loads of 50c beers (Possibly 75c now) with many expats including Americans living.
My go to Hotel is the Okay Boutique Hotel, similar prices to what you are paying (Perhaps a little more expensive online). But great large rooms and fab rooftop pool and restaurant. Any of the -06 and -07 rooms are larger with better balconies sheltered from the sun. It's just behind the Palace, close to st 172. And the Wild Rover Irish bar down the road is a good bar.
Enjoy, I am envious, but hope to get out again from Ireland soon.
Just to add, a trip to Kampot well worth while, you can hire a scooter (Moto) for about $5/day, sometimes a little cheaper. Mr Bison Tours is reliable, have hired about 20 times from him and never a problem.Great local trips such as Bokor National Park, Kep Crab Market, plus secluded local beaches etc..
Amazing hotel room for the price!
👍
Try and go to EVP Cambodia it's really cool and a good cause
Bassac Lane is the area in BKK1 you want to go to for the nightlife. Also check out Langka Lane for some cool restaurants and bars in a cool back alley setting. Be sure to open the soda vending machine for an awesome speak easy
Why dont you go to People's Republic of China, there are so many espectacular things there
Wait until Trump’s tariffs for Cambodia & Thailand @47-49% kick in. Talk about change!!
@Gabe, I am hoping you have found the area you were looking for. If not, the area in which the below restaurant is close to (if not the one) what you are referring to. https://maps.app.goo.gl/rXwvJC5p8K56LfSt5 – Damn nice sushi restaurant we dined at one night during our stay in PP.
bassac lane is where you need to go
Im sorry to say you are not on your usual form.. This is a shit show of a representation of PP. Please do more research.
At 10:15, you said Cambodia is less popular than the Philippines, but as of last year, Cambodia actually received more tourists—though most just visit Angkor Wat. 😆
Thank you for showing that beauuuuutiful temple us ❤❤❤
Hey Gabe! Welcome to Phnom Penh! My wife is Cambodian, so we have quite a few videos that may inspire you on our channel, @40NorthTravels. Here's a few quick ideas for your Phnom Penh trip.
If you want a bustling market, definitely check out Orussey Market. Second choices would be Central Market or Russian Market.
For nighttime vibes, you're staying in the right area. At night, walk along the riverside and wander the side streets by your hotel. The night market there is just OK, not great.
If you go back to BKK 1 area, definitely go to Pu Rock Cafe for a Mango Chicken meal. Tell them Jason & Daravy sent you.
If you're up for a long day trip, you'll be blown away by the 84,000 Buddha temple, Wat Puth Kiri, down in Kampot province. Amazing hidden gem with virtually no tourists.
Enjoy our time in Cambodia! 🇰🇭
The guy is in Cambodia and eat: english breakfast and Italian food ? LOL…what a joke !
With so much chaos and division going on in America, your videos allow me a moment of brief escape from a crashing stock market. Thank you. Watching from near Tampa, Florida.

great video thank you for transporting me there you deserve more subscribers . saludos
Hi Gabriel, you're going back to exploring like old times, walking around and seeing what you find. It's a nice, quiet city—not crazy busy, but interesting, nonetheless.
Donald trump will work with China to make Cambodia bend their knees to China . China will take over Cambodia government from top to bottom and use their navy base to fight the Philippines 🇵🇭 and conquer South China Sea . Trump wants to be a dictator
Legend says that once you visit Wat Phnom you will not marry in your further life. Or at least the person your with at that time.
I notice they are displaying the flag of the United States Of America on that property , and some can of flag below it, can you tell us what is that building at 14. 45. saludos
Ganesha – Of course! Cambodia was an extension of the ancient Indosphere. The name Cambodia comes from Sanskrit name "Cambhoja" which later became Campuchia and now Cambodia. The Angkor Wat is a Vishnu temple!
😊❤🇧🇦🗻🏔⛰
This video is truly inspiring! If anyone has visited, please share your experience.
