Rajeev Piramal debunks fast success in a world where constant comparison gives way to doubt, and helps us realise the value of going slow, but ultimately building things that last. Rajeev Piramal is Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Peninsula Land Ltd and has led the robust growth of the company, with over 7.4 million sq ft of development in residential, commercial and retail space. The current value of these projects is estimated to be Rs 1,40,000 million. The company has another 16 mn sq ft of projects in the pipeline.
Rajeev spearheaded the development of India’s first retail mall, in Mumbai, bringing in a new concept of shopping. He also pioneered the re-development of first textile mill land and in the process established Lower Parel as the new Business District in Central Mumbai.
