The aftermath of severe flooding in Greece has brought about a disturbing sight in the Pagasitikos Gulf, as hundreds of thousands of dead fish have blanketed the port. The flooding, which occurred over the past few days, is believed to have caused widespread devastation to the aquatic ecosystem in the area.
Local authorities and environmentalists are working to understand the extent of the damage and the reason behind the mass die-off of the fish. Initial reports suggest that the heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding may have led to a decrease in oxygen levels in the water, suffocating the marine life.
The sight of so many dead fish washing up on the shores is a stark reminder of the impact that extreme weather events can have on the environment. It serves as a sobering wake-up call for the urgent need for sustainable practices and measures to protect our planet and its precious ecosystems.
As efforts continue to clean up the area and assess the damage, it is hoped that lessons will be learned and actions taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. The heartbreaking scene of the mass die-off of fish in the Greek port serves as a poignant reminder of the fragile balance of nature and the importance of safeguarding it for future generations.

Smells like your mothers house

WTF????
The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. Repent.
It seems very fishy.
Does this have anything to do with the giant oil spill from the greek oil rig that is currently leaking into the ocean? Does the news not know of the missle attacks or is forgetting that piece convenient?
That's a lot of fish and a little scoop.
Meanwhile in Greek it's raining fish..😂😂
Greek is rich with all this fish in their waters
😂
We are seeing the world crumbling thanks to the pollution of greenhouse gases warming up our ecosystems in a ratio that it can't adapt. Soon the ones who won't be able to adapt to the economical pressure man-made/oil juggernauts global warming would induce that the poor and middle class will be like these fish. Dying in the thousands, fighting each other for the scraps of the mighty.
Detailed Environmental Assessment.
Carbon Tax.😄
Plenty of foods for birds but why are not they around them
Stop wasting food 😢
Because of extreme floods that took place in the area exactly one year ago, a lake called Karla overflooded. Those fish are fish of the lake that flowed in the sea through a river (after a dam was recently opened by local authorities). They are freshwater fish, so when they reach seawater they die. It's the long-lasting effects of extreme weather.

But in fact – sixth mass extinction is no fun no
