A horrific shooting at an adult education college in central Sweden has left several dead and multiple injured. The attack, carried out by a gunman armed with an assault rifle, took place at Campus Risbergska in Orebro, a city located approximately 120 miles west of Stockholm.
Reports from SVT, a public broadcaster, suggest that several individuals lost their lives in the shooting, and up to 15 people sustained injuries. However, these numbers have not been officially confirmed by authorities at this time. In response to the incident, police quickly arrived at the scene and transported five individuals, including the suspected attacker, to Orebro university hospital for treatment.
Jonas Claesson, the regional director of health and medical services, indicated that four of the injured individuals underwent surgery. One person is in critical condition, while the other two are in stable condition. The motive behind the shooting and the identity of the gunman have not yet been disclosed by investigators.
