R.I.P. #55 😢
He did so much for the Congo. Now the Congo is run by corruption & terrorism. No one has a chance to live. He was trying to break the cycle.
RIP Dikembe. Sad to learn you had been struggling with cancer…such a terrible ending.
Simply 🙏🙏!
RIP Dikembe. Grew up watching him. I always thought he was from Senegal or a more tamed place than what’s now the DRC. $3mil. I just can’t help but think that almost all of that money was siphoned off by corruption and almost non of it used for the hospital. Great man who like most people on earth were unfortunately born into tragic lives. I hope the relatives he adopted made something of themselves and didn’t waste the 1/8billion shot they were given.
Famous people are dying left and right here lately!!! What's going on here!!! Lord have mercy!!

Dikembe Mutombo was a real MENCH. But look at the Hospital, and the dire way the people are living, and more so dying. Were are all the hospitals and schools and more that all the countries raping their land for the riches to be used in batteries. So bad! Now this fierce hearted man is gone. But he will never be forgotten. RIP
