Hi Gabe, I'm enjoying the Greece video's. The water is just amazing! Enjoy your travels and be safe! 🛫🛫
quite a difference in the video quality from 2009, poor resolution and no stabilizer
We all think you should just go ahead and move to Greece, Gabriel!
And can you show us more of Crete from your POV?
I don’t like gravel beaches!!
WHY DO YOU TRY TO BREAK INTO EVERY CHURCH ON EVERY GREEK ISLAND L THINK THEY LOCK THE CHURCH DOORS WHEN THEY SEE YOU COMING
The only two I’ve been to are Anafi and folegandros, and I absolutely loved them.
Patmos will be my next destination, hopefully
my list in alphabetical order …..Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Santorini
Hi why do you visit Greece often ?
You realy love Greece 😂
Nice one! My favorite so far is Karpathos. I love that you can escape the crowds and all the historical places. Happy travels!
Gabriel, at some point you really have to visit Mount Athos. After so many years and so many places in Greece, you can’t miss this experience. Thousands of people go — including many Americans. It’s a living, thousand‑year‑old piece of history. I’d recommend Easter in 2027, which falls on May 2.
any plans to go back to Crete? It's been a while!
Those were some amazing looking meals towards the end! I got hungry and had to go cook something! The retrospect from 2009 was very cool too. Both you and cameras have changed so much!
Προφ. Ηλίας = Prophet Ilias (church or monastery).
Another great video Gabriel, glad you are enjoying your greek Odessy
Its a joy to watch your videos , what a peaceful island …
All Hellenic Islands are beautiful, my heart is still in Samothrace ❤
Hi again Gabriel, watching your 2009 footage again you were quite shaky with your camera shots. My holiday videos are like that. Do you have a gimbal stabilizer or something now as your current shots seem really steady and smooth. Thanks again, Mark 👍
Are you going to Egypt, Morocco or nearby safe countries in future?
The best
Crete
Chios
Corfu
👍👍
I suspected Rhodes wouldn't be on the list, but for the kind of exploring you like to do there is still a whole lot more to see there (and obviously on many other islands, but being a Rhodian… ☺). Inland is especially unique with myriad churches and monasteries off the beaten path; it also has it's own Prof. Ilias, the area of which and drive up to is exquisite – and so much to explore at Elafos (still in ruins) and Elafina (recently restored) – which interestingly also have an Austrian/Swiss vibe, historically and architecture-wise. On the whole, love that you love Greece and always happy to watch these videos. Looking forward to the next destinations 🙂
In greece they name the highest altitude church after prophet Elijah, and that was the sign of prof elias.
Curious… why are you so averse to even a FEW people on a Greek beach? I can understand not wanting to hang out and/or swim on a crowded beach, but even if there are just a few souls there? Let's say you get a bad cramp, or worse while in the water . . . it's possible those 2 or 3 beachgoers may save your life!
I swam to that Island in September 2024, I counted it as an Island.
