What a shocking surprise that must have been for Action kid and his family
Wow! You visited the village I was born in 1937. I was born in a brick house exactly the same one your grand parents lived in. We maybe related.
Thank you for sharing this journey to your ancestors. This was very interesting. I enjoyed seeing your mom, too.
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
awesome tour to see where your great-grandfather lived, beautiful home so unique
INTERESTING, yet, I really got tired of you're one liner WoW & Crazy! little overused. Sorry, but Thomas is unfamiliar with visiting the Ancestral graves tradition.
Don't know what to tell you, almost every village in that area do the same thing. meaning that most or all immigrants go & do the same thing, build schools, roads, houses. Once they know who you are, they start asking for money to build this or fix this. Almost working like scammers. Best of luck.
These people are so friendly and helpful. You will definitely get stories to pass on to your children. The women in this picture remind me of my aunties. Always helping, telling family stories, and feeding you! I enjoyed this video very much.
Your ancestors’ house is very beautiful and kept in pristine condition! Amazing, your family must been super rich back then to build such a house
That's so neat to see where the family came from. Congratulations that you got to see that, AK! That was a great thing to see.
What an awesome video AK!
Been a real pleasure to see your travels in east Asia the last year. Must've been super cool to see your ancestor's home after your family's story brought you all the way across the world to NY.
I've had a similar experience, seeing my great grandfather's house in upstate NY. It was the home he was born into when my father's side arrived in the mid 1800's.
Thanks for sharing your personal story.
That was so cool. Thanks for sharing!
My wife was born in Taishan. We recently visited Kaiping and Taishan rural area with local government officials looking to restore historical buildings in the area. Although not as in depth as this video, there was something spiritual about the video I made. Rural China and farms are quite interesting. Nice video.
Nice😊
Great video 🎉glad I was part of it
