Sonoma Valley, considered part of the province of California, lies north of San Francisco, and parallel to Napa Valley.
This region has a vineyard area roughly equivalent to that of Napa Valley, but has far fewer wineries.
North of Los Angeles, the Santa Barbara region, made up of a multitude of different microclimates, has a history of wine production that dates back to the late 18th century. The region has recently become famous thanks to the cult film “Sideways”.

OK, Californian wines MIGHT be good or great, but I decided to NEVER BUY or DRINK "American" wine since some debile American politician suggested to call "French-fries" "Freedem-fries"! Europe has so many fantastic wines that NO-One needs to buy the American pee! Same goes for the dishwater Americans dare to call "beer"!
