Toshiki Matsusaka, a mathematician in Fukuoka Prefecture, talks about a miracle that occurred at his university. You can learn about cutting-edge mathematical research in a way that is both easy to understand and enjoyable. Through his talk, you can learn the value of taking on new challenges. 1993年，長崎県五島市富江町に生まれ，高校卒業まで五島の豊かな自然の中で育つ．小学生の頃に読んだエンツェンスベルガーの「数の悪魔」に取り憑かれて以来，広大な数学の世界で終わりのない探検を続けている．ドイツ・ケルン大学への留学を経て，九州大学にて数理学の学位を取得後，26歳で名古屋大学高等研究院の特任助教に着任．さらに近年は数学の研究に加え，その魅力を広く伝えていく活動にも力を注いでいる．2019年第7回九州若手数学賞，2022年第38回井上研究奨励賞，2023年日本数学会賞建部賢弘奨励賞受賞．現在，九州大学大学院数理学研究院助教，および韓国Kangwon National University客員教授． This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
