During Monday’s windstorm on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, a terrifying event unfolded as a tornado is suspected to have touched down between Half Moon Bay and Sechelt. The Northern Tornadoes Project labeled it as a “weak late-season tornado” that caused havoc in the area. The powerful winds brought down trees, which in turn blocked roads including the Sunshine Coast Highway.
One resident, Lynn Smith, had a close encounter with the tornado while driving on the highway. As she saw the strong winds picking up, she quickly made a U-turn to get away from the dangerous storm. The incident left many residents shaken as they witnessed the destructive power of nature.
The tornado was part of a line of storms that hit the region on Nov. 4, causing damage and disruption in its wake. Thanks to the quick reactions of individuals like Lynn Smith, no major injuries were reported. However, the event serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable and potentially dangerous weather that can occur in British Columbia.
Global’s Troy Charles reported on the incident, highlighting the impact of the tornado on the local community. As cleanup efforts begin and residents assess the damage, the Sunshine Coast Highway slowly reopens for traffic. Despite the chaos caused by the tornado, the resilience of the community shines through as they come together to support one another in the aftermath of the storm.

Not a tornado, the debris coming down. I imagine you guys have never stepped outside or seen real life. But that's okay, So if you have a tree fall of that caliber. Well it has branches, With those branches they have expenditures that pull wind. A "wush" sound if that helps. so when you have a big crashing downforce. it brings up force. Air has to do something right? Crazy. So this tornado effect. was a back pressure wind coming into a falling tree force wind. Stop making fake new and scaring people. There is NOT a tornado. That was NOT a tornado.

Why are Canadians now suddenly vastly outnumbered in overcrowded Canadian cities?
Shouldn’t Canadian homes be owned and occupied by Canadians?
In Post National Canada there’s 30 million Canadians,14 million homes and 13 million foreigners occupying Canadian homes
Post National Canada has the fastest changing demographic in the world and it really really sucks

WOW, All that carbon tax money is sure going to good use. It's just stopping all those B.C. fires, floods, and now tornados. What a joke! Maybe the government should leave us some money in our pockets to build bunkers instead.
This is not a new thing, if you all are going to start blaming climate change… my grandpa used to tell us about the tornadoes he had to deal with back in the 30's in the interior . Way worse than this in B.C. Broke houses apart. And trees coming down in this season is a given. Yes scary but not un usual.
Possible downburst? Not Tornado. Radar does not show any rotation in that area at the time of this 'Tornado Video'

wow that's insane, maybe it's time to put anchors on trees into the ground, so they have a chance to stick around, make sure your trees are well rooted on your properties.
That’s not a tornado that’s wind with trees that have been damaged by drought. I’ve lived through a tornado.
