Biography: Teya & Friends

Teya, a rising star from Austria, captured hearts at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with her electrifying entry, “Who The Hell Is Edgar?” Now stepping into the dual role of creative director and co-writer, she is shaping the sound of JJ’s entry, “Wasted Love”.

Joining her in this special episode from the Novartis Pavilion in Basel are notable talents, including Ralf Mackenbach, who famously won the Junior Eurovision in 2009 before pivoting to a successful career in physics. Ace Bowerman, a visionary creative director, and Jorge Antonio Fujizaki, a choreographer, have been pivotal in crafting the staging for this year’s entries from the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan.

Melanie Wehbe, a seasoned Eurovision collaborator with four entries under her belt, including her vocal contributions to Sissal’s "Hallucination," rounds out the group. Adding to the dynamic atmosphere are two Novartis professionals, Gustavo Prack and Anisah Alyahya, who explore the intersection of their corporate careers with their passion for music.

Together, these artists reflect the spirit of Eurovision—innovation, creativity, and a passion for music that transcends boundaries.

Stay tuned for their collaboration "Wasted Love," set to be a highlight of Eurovision 2025 in Basel!
