RIP Phil Donahue. De mortuis nil nisi bonum dicendum est.
In 2003, Donahue was fired from his primetime MSNBC talk show for airing antiwar voices during the run-up to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, when most of the corporate media was cheerleading the Bush administration’s drive for war.
I grew up in Dayton Ohio, and some of my earliest memories are of Phil Donahue on WHIO TV and radio those are great memories. Now he can interview the angels and saints. Rest in peace Phil 🙏 thank you
