Iwent to Turkey in 1993 1994. Beside
Istanbul I liked kushadasi Effesus and
Antalia. The old amphirheatres in Effesus and antalia are similar to the
ones in Ceasaria Beit shean and Aman.
I think it was over the top to be barging through the dinner area of the restaurant filming these people who were enjoying their dinner. You should have respected their privacy. This kind of thoughtless behavior is annoying and negatively affects the quality of life of the locals, and reinforces negative views of tourists and (what's becoming too many) YouTubers. Try to be more sensitive next time.
Dutch soccer: Groningen vs Feyenoord. The final score was 2-2
You can use your second passport if you are a dual citizen.
Istanbul! What a beautiful City, I was there 2 weeks before! Enjoy it! There are many restaurant around Istiklal caddesi
Almost a year since I went there solo..Istanbul flight to Cappadocia (went to underground city), took the night bus to Pamukkale, train to Izmir (Ephesus) and night bus again back to Istanbul.
You can spend weeks in Istanbul alone.
@GabrielTravelerVideos (check your flag in your thumbnail!!) looking forward to your next vlog🇹🇷❤
Sad story? He was 27. Kids are being blown up daily right now… Thailand's new DTV visa… 5 years for digital nomads. Don't need to have a residence. Just need $14,000 in ANY account, anywhere… and you are set.
In the same ways that a portion of the Aurelian Walls still exist in Rome, so do portions of the Constantinople Walls, making that city virtually impregnable for 1,000 years.
I really wanted to go to Istanbul and Turkey when I was traveling through Greece many years ago. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible and I never managed to go there. Really enjoyed this video, living vicariously through you! ❤️👏
Lets see south America Gabe!
Hey Gabe I'm hip to the fact that the Istanbul night scene is bustling with big crowds, but I'm digging the vibe man. Chaka brah 🤙 🇹🇷
11:15 Is that simply an unusual residential building or what?
Wow Gabe, back in Istanbul!!! Really looking forward to your new adventures there!
I think you got the 90 day limit wrong. the 180 days is a sliding window not a fixed period. You got 90 days allowed in the LAST 180 days.
Istanbul looks awesome. I really need to go soon.
Anyone who does stories or makes videos about Turkey they must always bring up the Christian genocide that was committed by Turkey during the World War I, millions of Christian people were slaughtered by Turkey and they were forced to leave their homeland forever. Still to this day Turkey has not taken responsibility, they have been rejecting the truth.
I was hoping he'd go to the Black Sea region, don't think he's ever been and you don't see many travel vloggers go there. Wow, Istanbul streets are full of people of all ages at night. He should go to Dolmabahce Palace for the sultans in Besiktas Istanbul. It's very lavish even by today's standards and decked out in marble, alabaster, crystal, silk and gold. It has the world's largest crystal chandelier weighing 4.5 tonnes. Turkey's founder Kemal Ataturk later spent his summers there and died in one of the rooms where his clock remains at 9:05 AM, the time of his death.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
2:45 Greeks changed the name not from a Greek name to Alexandroupolis. They changed from its original Turkish name. Dedeağaç. Dedeağaç was a Turkish town, founded and settled by the Turks. Unfortunately Greeks invaded it and made up this fake name Alexandroupolis.
one day will go to Turkey beside the airport
nice shout out to taxi drivers, I love it when they quote a fair price, I usually reward them with a big tip.
Welcome to İstanbul, just so you know, when you're in Istanbul and set a route on Google Maps, if you choose the public transport option, it will show you which metro and bus you need to take. There was a metro station where you got off the bus, and from there you could have reached Taksim with one transfer.
Hi Gabriel, the underground cities were something quite common from the past and the catholic church sealed most of them. There's a video on it from- Everything Inside Me: IT TOOK YEARS TO OBTAIN THIS CRUCIAL INFORMATION fascinating stuff.
Be careful not to be attacked by mobs. They have been fuelled with anti Western and anti US hate.
Gabe, what backpacks do you use?
Hi Gabe. My husband and I have been subscribers and following your journeys for several years. We are fellow Californians currently traveling Turkey and heading to Cappadocia tomorrow thru the 23rd. We would love to meet up and buy you a beer.
I'm definitely ready to move on from Greece to go somewhere else. Anywhere 👌
19:22 Now this is some good content thank you for going here
26:53 Well, why not just do the process? There's no point in just putting it off longer and longer. You have the time.
Great to hear you are stopping in cappodocia for a while, definitely on my list of places to visit
