Your comment about heatstroke is no joke. That’s how the British TV presenter Michael Mosley died back in June, on Symi. He went for a hike in 98 degree weather. (37 Celsius) They say it was 10 degrees hotter up the hill he was hiking on. I think you might’ve commented on this earlier this summer.
I have a house for sale in ithaki Buy it and rent it out during the tourist season. Check it out Ionian Sea 7 islands
Wow Lemnos my friend!! The island of God Heaphestus!!! You have a lot to discover, lot of historical places, lot of nice beaches, a lot of different and strange landscapes! Don't miss Keros beach and my favourite Parthenomytos beach! Also don't miss the cave of Philoctetes, the Sanctuary of Kaveiri and the Ancient theater of Hephaistia into the double bay. You will not get enough of Lemnos different emotions and there the waters of sea has something beautiful and different to effect positive your soul and body! Happy stay and happy exploration dear Gabriel in your unique way!!
Love the way the rocks by the sea create difference bays and waterfront areas for Myrina, reminds me of a tiny Rio or Cape Town.
Limnos is very much Mirina.
Outside there is not much affordable accomodation to find, and for sure not much action.
The sand dunes and funny rock formations by the north cost are fine.
Another Awesome and Very Beautiiful Adventure Thank You Gabriel Safe Travels 🙂❤👍
It's so goddamn hot! Milk was a bad choice 😂 great vid as always mate
This island looks great. Too bad generally speaking accommodation in Greece is much more expensive then areas like south east asia.
Hike early in the morning
So many cool places; what a life! Living vicariously through Gabe's videos.
Greece is so beatiful ❤ and so mutch history ❤
What app do you use for map animation?
It is very simpel. Where there is greenery, there are mosquitos and other insects.
The Greeks use mosquito nets in their windows to solve that problem. They are almost transparent and unnoticeable. The best brand is actually made in Canada.
Tourist accomodations seldom bother with these quite fragile nets, that the tourists easily destroy.
I'd say "it's all Greek to You" Gabriel…but that doesn't really fit in the way for which it's intended 🤔 > remove the sarcasm and then it becomes more appropriate ✅
I think You shine best whenever visiting Greece & Thailand > the Koh Phayam tank acquired on the last Thailand pit stop always a Winner 👍 > been about a week +/-….unless I missed it more recently > awaiting it's next wash…or dunk in the crystal clear blue Greek waters😉
We visit Greece for 10 years every year, and as residents in other EU country (no EU passport) it's our dream to live there, but the Greeks are pretty hard with long term visas. Only Golden and Nomad visas, and both are complicated and have difficult conditions now.
Selam Gabriel, I can imagine when they exchange people those mix marriage children hard to choose mom or dad?
Gabriel good thing you're talking about safety tios in Greece and you have done so in the past with other countries. Thanks a lot amigo. Have a good one.
dude they are ripping you off for the room
30 euro easy to find
GREAT!!!!!!
Free trips $$ thank you. Have fun
Don't go BATSY on us Gabe! 😎😎🙏🙏 If you don't like bats and especially huge ones, stay away from the park next to Hauz Khas village in New delhi. You'll se them flying around at around dusk and you';; see them just hanging in the trees by the hundreds soimetimes during the daytime. I know because I satyed in that village for 4 days last October. The village itself is cool. Gabe you were there and I remember you giving a tour of the place.
It would be nice if you had a euro passport, then no math needed for all the visa days.
I’ve been really enjoying the music you have added to the last few vlogs, very moving! I even started to cry when you showed the church in Lesvos a few vlogs ago.
Greece has gotten expensive to stay. It used to be a bargain.
5:20 “ probed by the mosquitoes “ 😂😂😂
Boschkada 🤡
👍👍👍
Just magnificent…thinking of all those who walked before on those paths around the castle.
So happy to see you went to Lemnos! It’s one of the nicest and most genuine islands in Greece (imo). You have to go to the Richa Nera beach (the next bay from where you swam). I can recommend hiking to the Blue and white church you saw from the ferry (great view from there) as well as the church in the cave. Don’t miss the icecream at Gelato di Nonna!
Seriously the Greek islands all have pretty well the same landscape.
Αρχαια ηφαιστεια… Καβείριο…. Πολιόχνη…αμδες…(Desert).
Yep…we do not want you to do a Dr Moseley.
great cinematography, I got too visit that island. saludos
Filoktitis cave
The view when you were walking the hill overlooking the port reminded me when I was 22 back in the 80s & was stuck on the Greek island of Milos for 10 days due to a ferry strike. Being cheap college student dropouts we had to sleep on the barren sides of them hills. It sucked & is why I don’t really care for the Greek isles much.

Another great Video Gabriel. I have been to Thassos many times and really recommend staying in the main town (Limenas) on arrival and use as your base. It's picturesque with some lovely tavernas in the old town. There are a few ferries a day from Kavala to Skala Prinos where there is usually a bus waiting to take you to the main town Limenas. This takes around 20 minutes. The main ferry route is Keramoti (on the mainland) to Limenas but there isn't much in the way of travel links from Keramoti. I have actually used a private boat/cruiser in the past to Samothraki so that may be an option worth exploring. This was from the south of the Island from Limenaria. On Thassos it takes a couple of hours to gently drive round the island. There's plenty to see and the views from the mountains are spectacular. Panagia is a lovely traditional town. Golden Beach is unbelievable. There's Aliki with its ruins and a Monastery to see too. There's also an amphitheatre just outside the main town. On the mainland there is also Kavala airport which may be useful. I'm sure you will enjoy!
Unfortunately, all of these islands look and feel similar. Seen one seen em all
Samotrace looks like an other world, looking forward to your trip there!
💙🤍💙😎😎😎
Great survival advice for hiking in heat waves Gabe 👍 I would only like to add to always bring a camera because the camera man never dies! Cheers 🍻
Hi Gabriel. You are on the island of Hephaestus, the ancient god of fire in the greek mythology.
The island of Agios Efstratios was a place of exile during the Greek Civil War and until 1974. Most places of exile are today beautiful tourist destinations.
Also, while Samothraki is an island, the best swimming is done in the Phonia's Plinth and the Gria Plinth, that is, in rivers. It is also the island where Philip met Olympias (Alexander's parents) and it has a special energy. Have a good time.
09:45 Thank you Gabriel for mentioning the difficult history of the Northeastern Aegean Islands. Their fate is connected to the Straits since the Trojan war. Probably it is the reason they have not been as developed as the main Cyclades islets in tourism.
14:05 There used to be deers living on the castle rock apart from goats. What happened to the deers?
18:49 Myrina Castle is no bigger than Mytilini's, but it deserves a restoration for its visitors. I have been there many years ago and nothing really changed. At least there are the signs.
25:40 Just decorative patterns from the residents, nothing to do with a religious or spiritual sense.
33:36 Myrina looks to the west so the prevailing Northeast winds keep the seaside waters crystal and that's every swimmer loves!
Sad that Lesvos almost disappointed Gabriel, there are so many to go and see, they take some hours of course. It is a large island taking weeks to discover. At least Gabriel should have gone to see the mansions of Mytilini at its south parts. I love Limnos being smaller and so neat, so enjoyable, but I miss the forests and the nature from Lesvos!
