South African has different tribes NOT only Zulus , khoi and black people lived amongst each other centuries before the white people came to South Africa, when the Portuguese came to South Africa they met the Khoi in the Western Cape and the Zulus in Natal, this does not mean there were no other black tribes inland, The first Europeans to come to South Africa are the Portuguese, but you never find them making noise about it. Please also give yourself time to learn SA history from the black South Africans, it does not make sense that you would visit Africa , and then only take the history you learn from the minority, your first video has a lot of mistakes.
Oh man I miss the ReaVaya , lol never thought I'd miss the Joburg public bus transit , but I guess it was that good , could go around all over Joburg with those buses , Joburg is really amazing if you know all the right places to go to and the places to avoid , you'll have a blast there
Your first video has a lot of mistakes , khoi, Sans and black South Africans lived amongst each other for centuries before white people came to South Africa, I'm shocked that you came to Africa and decided to only get the history from the minority. This says a lot about you.
Amazing country
Nice, balanced view of Johannesburg.
Kenya next man
Johannesburg isn't that bad. Not that good either, but not as bad as purported (or not everywhere at least).
I love your videos, it feels like im there with you learning as well
Beautiful and balanced ❤
I feel im getting disavow some of this video clips I’ve seen before ?
soon as that young lady said she is studying towards statistics and applied math i knew she was gonna say she wants to be a Quant, so awesome everytime i see a fellow young black person wanting to be a quant too, beautiful stuff, with youngsters like that , joburg has a great future
Are you going to mention Israel in this video? Please warn us in advance.
Meh, daily power outages are where I draw the line, myself. I mean, unless I was going camping in the wilderness or something.
South Africa South Africa is most dangerous country for white peoples black Africans killed raped murdered white citizens in South Africa has more result now a days white percentage is low day by day
False information Uber Bolt and indriver can take you anywhere in the country you never need a car of your own
As another "White" South African – that guy (Verne Harris) from 5:00 – you only speak for yourself – go believe your own lies !!!
So cool ❤
It's people like that why SA looks like it does !!!
Hey Verne: What did I get during the "Apartheid" era that I wouldn't have gotten in any other Western country at the time ???
He may just as well have said that the moon is peice of cheese
FROM BANGLADESH ♥ 🇧🇩 ❤
Hi Thanks . Kutlwano should ditch the idea of going to the USA . Look to grow locally and around Africa. USA is a big lie .
Angola should be your next visit, we waiting, but SA is 🔥
One day I want to visit South Africa and see it myself 🇮🇪💙🇿🇦
Wow that Professor is truly delusional. Dude clearly has whiteness derangement syndrome. "I'm benefitting from my whiteness" – give me a break.
5:34 people like this crackpot professor won't consider things like "racism" or "apartheid" to be successfully resolved until white people are completely extinct. Notice how he doesn't give up his own position as the curator of the Nelson Mandela Foundation to a black person. Communism for thee, not for me. 🙄
Excellent work. Proudly South African 🇿🇦
Crazy what we did, looking back. We took 10 days just to do Gauteng. From 9am to 6pm everyday! I told you: "You want to come to Joburg, you will experience Joburg to the fullest!" Brilliant showcase! Thanks for this Slava! You crafted a brilliant video once again with love, patience and it is balanced! Not easy what you did here. OUR CITY IS INCREDIBLE AND THIS IS THE PROOF!❤
Great work covering such a complex city. Joburg has the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
As a kid, Hillbrow was amazing! It was the Manhattan of Africa, safe and full of immigrants with great restaurants, night life. Sad to see how it has been destroyed.
Thanks!
It is fun that Nelson Mandela foundation is run by the very same white people who created apartheid and they are be hind destruction of SA today
The city of Johannesburg is so large, and old. JHB CBD doesn’t look like it’s 100 years old, but i don't think, it is on the brink of collapse. Yes, we do have a lot of townships and informal settlements, but that will never change the fact that this will remain the largest city in Africa in terms of development and production. Every big company is here, every expert is here, and new technologies are here. It is a dream city for everyone. I’m from Limpopo, and I came here for the opportunities. My relatives are here, and some are living their best lives, as are my friends. this the home Africa and if people think it's collapsing them Africa is collapsing too. thank you for this 46 minutes video, that i hope will give people a clear picture about JHB.
Love your content man, you should come to Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪 in East Africa
You'll love it, more sore Nairobi the Capital
7:37 did anyone notice the absence of any prominent Republican personality?
I wonder why 🤔
Anc😢
Your content is off the charts as usual well done. I get emotional when the name of my grear leader Nelson Mandela is mentioned. He was the only true leader South Africa had as for the rest of the rest of the leaders, the less saud the better.
R.I.P Johannesburg. A once beautiful city. So embarrassed about it man. Still a few things to love about it but overall it's beyond repair, at least until we get a competent government to run it.
I love the fact that you portray our country as it is without hidden agendas. Keep it up man!
one more amazing video, thank you a lot.
Zambia visit for sure CoolVision👍
Wow, this is the first instance I've encountered where a white South African acknowledges the existence of white privilege in South Africa.
Looks neglected and unsafe.id bet politicians are spending a small fortune on personal security.
The contrasts of South Africa must be so confusing to an outsider watching how we live! 🤣
The extremes strangely unite us rather than divide. You either live in the hope or enjoyment of a better life. 🇿🇦
This balance isn’t guaranteed for life though should we further delay addressing inequality. Equation = 30 years of democracy vs 500 years of colonialism & apartheid.
bring more vedios on more cities and also explore asian and indian cities
29:40 cozy place 😄
I moved to JHB at the age of 21 for the opportunities. Built a career, met my wife and lived there for 18 years and loved it. Now I've moved to the Western Cape. Over the last few years the mismanagement of Johannesburg has been extreme and now there are water, electricity, infrastructure, pot hole etc etc issues. My investments there have hardly grown. It's very sad. Glad to have lived there and sad to see how it has declined.
