Gabriel hope you are enjoying Cambodia as much as I am enjoying India for my second time. Despite 2 hotel issues, but made it an adventure. Love your upload commitment 😍
Hey how about Laos next? I’ve been watching a dude in Luang Prabang and it reminds me of Thailand 30 years ago
Almost first
I've been to Phnom Penh twice back in 2012 & 2013. Crazy how much it's developed since.
Gab you have to communicate more with the locals….. Also it will make videos much more interesting for your subscribers! ✌
Your in the Red Light District. 172 street Golden Home on the South side.
$17 for a meal and a glass of wine!!!! Wow that was expensive.Hope it tasted nice.
You should've gone to the Killing Fields and Museum at the old school. It's very moving.
Did you try Amok? Delish.
That was the part of town where you follow something else other than your thumb 😳
Amazed at the number of India-made 3 wheeled auto rickshaws ( tuk tuks) in Phnom Penn streets 😊
Didn't visit Bassac?
Wow, that is so much more walkable than the red-light walking districts in Bangkok or Pattaya. I hope you visit Nana and I'm curious if it is less congested during low season, it was so packed around New Years. Just as busy late February, too
Hey Gabriel I remember when you used to go through kundalini awakening and had chronic insomnia. I have this at moment how do you travel and book when you have insomnia?
I bet your meeting Balder in Napal.Better be careful or you'll leave a full blown alcoholic.
😊❤🇧🇦🗻🏔⛰
Thank You Gabriel 🙂❤💙👍
Please tell me that’s just the camera at night and I don’t have astigmatism 🙏
👍🏻🍀🇰🇭
That's the probably the red light area I visited in 2016, although it's quite hazy, too much alcohol that night! I was talking to a German guy in a bar and we went on a whistle stop tour of the clubs (quite dodgy) and I woke up hours later with Khmer lady who couldn't speak any English in my hotel room lol.
nauty street is 🍻
That's a happening place!!! 😎💙✌
Hi Gabriel, I'm just wondering who are you going to meet up with in Nepal.l I'm sure you don't want to make that Trek alone it seems like a long arduous Trek.
Pol Pot was the Hitler of Cambodia. He despised intellectuals, artists and scholars to the same degree that Hitler did Jews. Both Despots’ paranoia knew no bounds.
Red light distrito cool. saludos
vino cool. saludos
Not my thing, so many nice places to see in the country and this is just trashy
Food looks great 😊 and so lovely to see grandpa taking his grand daughter out for a meal on the table in front of you! Happens a lot in Thailand too but not so much here in Australia 🇦🇺 😂
Ahh, 7-11, that seems like a safe place. 555
Very colourful night scene. Really loved your short visit to Phnom Penh, didn’t know what to expect but really looks like an amazing city to visit. Will be binge watching your earlier videos to Cambodia, love to see Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. Thank you! ❤
Definitely a red light district but pretty cheery, not dumpy – around 7:00 I begin to hear what sounds like a blend of western and Cambodian music. Love that tonal vocal part. Exotic and fun.
Are you sure that's not the red light district? Seems like it.
This is definitely a place I have to visit, but I’m unsure about the best transportation options. Could anyone advise me?
Hello from CA. Would love to visit Phnom Penh!
You say the "P" in Phnom. Sounds like "Punum"
Nice Vlog, ill get to Phnom Phen eventually.
Nightlife looks as crazy as Thailand 😅
It's a shame you couldn't stay longer in Cambodia but Nepal sounds really epic.
Completely enjoyed your trip to Cambodia, to see what that country has become after the incomprehensible atrocities of the 70's is beyond heartwarming…Good always beats evil..never give up!!!..looking forward to nepal!! 0:03
Gabriel traveller my wife loves to watch your videos. We'll be in lefkada Greece the first week of May. Come do Lefkada and let's meet up? All the best! Mark and Carolyn in England. 😉👍
Please don't turn into that "type" of channel
Here's an AI summary of this video!
Here’s a breakdown and summary of the video “The Nightlife Street Scene in Phnom Penh, Cambodia”:
—
Overview
The video was filmed on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
The temperature at 8:30 PM was 88°F (31°C).
This was the creator’s last night in the city after five nights/four full days.
—
Purpose of the Video
The creator wanted to give viewers a walkthrough of the nightlife in Phnom Penh.
Although he had planned to visit major cultural sites (like the Killing Fields), he didn’t get the chance due to time spent editing videos.
—
Exploration Highlights
He walks through busy night streets filled with bright lights, street food, bars, and local markets.
Ends up near what seems to be a red-light district, where there are lots of women outside bars like "Gabies," "Barbados," and "Wild Orchid"—suggesting some of the nightlife may involve adult entertainment.
Mentions places with names like "Romance Oxygen" and "Paradise", contributing to that atmosphere.
Notes that Phnom Penh’s nightlife is vibrant and colorful, possibly comparable to Bangkok.
—
Personal Reflections
The creator had previously visited Cambodia in 2016, seeing Angkor Wat and Battambang but not Phnom Penh, so this trip was meant to fill that gap.
He expresses interest in returning to visit the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum, acknowledging the tragic history under Pol Pot.
Overall, he found Phnom Penh to be interesting, even though he missed some major tourist attractions.
—
Final Moments
The video ends with him contemplating where to eat dinner and noting the abundance of women outside bars, suggesting potential caution for tourists.
He returns to a familiar spot near a 7-Eleven and wraps up by saying he’s about to find a place to eat.
—
Tone & Vibe
Casual and observant.
Lightly reflective with a tourist’s curiosity.
Doesn’t go too deep into historical or cultural analysis but notes important points respectfully.
