Gabriel, the architecture is breath-taking to behold, isn't it? I was just going to ask you if your visit to the Azores was the first time that you had been there, and now I know that it is.
People confuse Portuguese with Spanish, but, the two languages are quite different to hear and read.
I checked on a map and had never realised just how far The Azores are from mainland Portugal.
33:55 — Booze looks de-lish but also a bit on the strong side. Should put you out straightaway, which means help you to fall asleep tonight. 🙂 Your dinner bag is cheaper than a Whole Foods haul, so life cannot be all that bad, for starters, hey.
Nice of you to spring for the lovely young woman's dinner at the end of this video, and because you know that I love to know what folks eat, I am going to ask of you, please, what was for supper / for dinner?
So cool to see you there!! It's only a few weeks ago I asked you if you'd ever been there and you posted that "not yet but you wanted to"… and now you're there! Enjoy, and looking forward to more of the island(s?)!
Gabe, on mainland Portugal I can recommend Nazare (giant surfing waves in the Winter), Alcobaca (huge monastery), Obidos (walled medieval city), Peniche(town perched on a headland), Baleal (rocky island linked by single lane road), Buddha Eden garden(vast array of statues), Monte de São Bartolomeu( small mountain top outside Nazare), Pegadas de Dinossauros de Vale de Meios (dinosaur footprints quarry) and Salinas de Rio Maior (salt making village). All on the west coast of Portugal between Lisbon and Porto.
Yes, Portuguese troops fought on the Western Front during WW1.
Perigo means danger.
Ponta Delgada looks very pleasant to walk around. Love the beautiful buildings and intricate cobblestone pavements. Enjoyable tour. Thank you! 😊❤️
Looking forward to more as you will do some research.
The nicest thing is the walkways & street all made of stone.
Nice video. Further on I récompense going to madeira
Portugal is so underrated. I was just there during the summer. I checked out the Algarve, Porto and Lisbon. Enjoy, senior!
Hey bud I hope you go visit and do a better job in zakynthos Greece. As you didn’t see anything on the island especially st. Dionysos it’s one of the biggest churches in Greece. And a lot more to see. Need to revisit it without your friend as she was biased. Save travels
The mistake you made with the Osmo Action – I have an Osmo Action 1 too and half way through our trip to Montenegro in May, I realised that I didn't have the Rock Steady function on for some reason too. It's so annoying… I was gutted. Since then, I am paranoid about checking it is on. Easily done.
Welcome back on your travels mate, missed you.
I had a better room at Summer Camp, as a 12 year old. $60 USD a night, for a bunk bed in a crowded room? $60 USD for the four nights, I think that is what Gabriel meant.
How did he fix his video editing?
48 euros for a bunkbed? oh my god, should have a whole room for that sort of money 😬
I Think is Ponta Delgada not Ponte Slim
Ç you read as S (as in snake). normal C you read either as C (as in cat if it stands before A, O or U) or S (as in snake if it stands before E or I)
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place 🥰
Wow my family immigrated from there to the US 125 years ago. 😎
RIP Charlie
Gabriel you should go to madeira 😀
How long you traveling for
