Our culinary journey continues with a visit to a traditional Hakka restaurant, where we savor dishes like Hakka Stir-Fry and Braised Pork Hock. We then indulge in juicy goose meat at a local favorite restaurant before moving on to a fish market filled with fresh seafood and delightful restaurants.
Next up, we hop on the high-speed rail to Tainan, where we dive into the famous train bento and treat ourselves to almond jelly shaved ice, braised wontons, noodles, and seafood congee. Despite the rain, we enjoy crispy potstickers for breakfast and explore the Hayashi Department Store before digging into refreshing mango shaved ice.
Our adventure continues with a visit to the Chimei Museum, where we marvel at its impressive violin collection before indulging in a sumptuous Tainan Beef Hot Pot featuring super fresh beef. Lastly, we explore Anping Old Street, trying shrimp crackers and Anping tofu pudding before making a stop in Changhua for braised pork belly rice and bawan.
