Just to be devil's advocate for a minute, would you still not consider Taiwan to be a separate country if the CCP invades like they did Tibet? I know one sometimes has to fib in order to keep access to certain countries but please don't make the matter simplistic or just don't comment on it at all. To hide behind some UN jargon doesn't suit you my dude.
Glad it's not another propaganda video of Chongqing, China
I enjoyed my tour of Taiwan some years ago. In Kaohsiung, try Cijin island. It's a ferry ride away from the main island. You can rent a bicycle there. Since you like nature, try to visit Hua Lien city and visit the various stops of the Taroko Gorge. Safe travels!
This guy is unstoppable!!! Great work!
I’m off to Tawain next April, these videos could be very useful
👍
I left Taiwan 3 days ago, coincidence! Fantastic country and people! Enjoy! I look forward to the videos there.
My dog was liberated from a Taiwan meat market. Came out shell shocked and needed much TLC but has been by far the best pooch ever. Passing no judgment… especially being I had hamburger for dinner last night.
Public Perception that Chinese Authorities are Unfriendly to Taiwan …
Why do people think Taiwan belongs to China?
In 1945, the Chinese people won the great victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, ending Taiwan's half-century of humiliation under Japanese slavery. After World War II, a host of documents with international legal effect legally recognized Taiwan as Chinese territory.Mar 18, 2024

Looks like you were right – it’s a Taoist temple. Beautiful!
Point of clarification: They speak Taiwanese Mandarin and write in traditional Chinese characters. (There’s no such thing as traditional Chinese language.)

I got a message today from my friend Francesca from Italy about someone she knows who is in very dire need of help. So I thought I would post about it here in case anyone is in a position to support someone who is in a very desperate situation. I first met Francesca in Nepal in 2016 and later we met up in Mexico, as you can see in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_11AqvArDbI
When I met up with Francesca in Nepal she was working for an aid organization there. The person who is in need is a Nepalese woman who she worked with there. A year ago she was injured in an accident which resulted in her breaking her hand and leg. Then a few months ago her husband died suddenly of a heart attack. She's now left to raise her two daughters alone while also taking care of her father in law. So it's really the worst situation imaginable. I donated 100 euros. If you'd like to help a real person stuck in a really bad place, Francesca has set up a donation page here: https://www.givesendgo.com/GEWMG
