Four bodies found in Sicily yacht disaster

During a routine trip off the coast of Sicily, tragedy struck the luxury superyacht Bayesian, owned by British multimillionaire Mike Lynch. The vessel capsized during what has been described as a “freak storm,” leading to the untimely deaths of six individuals on board.

Divers have been tirelessly searching the wreck for any signs of life, and unfortunately, two more bodies have been discovered. These latest victims are the second and third to be found following the initial recovery of the yacht’s cook, Recaldo Thomas.

The names and identities of the newly found deceased have not yet been released by rescue teams. The entire maritime community is mourning this devastating loss, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining missing individuals.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable and perilous nature of the sea, even for those aboard luxurious vessels. The investigation into the cause of the capsizing is still underway, and our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those affected by this heartbreaking disaster.
