In a significant move, Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah recently signed a declaration in Beijing pledging to work together to form a government. The agreement, however, has been met with skepticism by many, with some viewing it as merely a “big, diplomatic show” that may not lead to any tangible results.
The longstanding rivalry between Hamas and Fatah has often stood in the way of unity among Palestinians. Previous attempts at reconciliation have ultimately faltered due to deep-seated disagreements between the two groups. As a result, many Palestinians are wary of placing too much hope in this latest deal.
According to FRANCE 24 International Affairs Editor Douglas Herbert, the track record of past agreements between Hamas and Fatah suggests that this new declaration may face challenges in being successfully implemented. While the intention to form a government together is a positive step towards unity, there are concerns about whether the two factions can overcome their differences and work together effectively.
Despite the uncertainties surrounding the Hamas-Fatah deal, it represents a potential opportunity for the Palestinian territories to move towards a more unified and stable government. As the world watches closely to see how this agreement unfolds, the ultimate success of this partnership remains to be seen.

See how evil Xi's
Africans are getting united and stronger and many countries including France and U.S are escaping from Africa. Very soon African continent will have a currency and they will have an united army and control over their natural resources.InshaAllah
Supriced that Douglas do not support peace as the unification of palestinian administration has been the problem in the two state solution. US and allies have stated many times that palestinians cannot establish a state because they do not have functioning administration. So that problem would be solved. Regarding the arms I suppose there will be "non-aligned" partner or partners to take care of the security and probably solve also much bigger security problem after coming security conference in Bahrain.
it is by no means a 'big diplomatic show' were talking about the unification of the westbank and gaza in one voice after fighting a literal war in 2007 that is not small, the divide part of the equation is now collapsing, and that means that shortly the conquer will follow, read between the lines
They mad is not morroni

Pallys are the worst, theres a reason nobody but the west took them in and then had them ruin their countries.
It's a trick by Hamas to remain in power the best option left is to join farah – thry think the world is dumb ,China are the worst guys to bring peace to Palestinian
This is how desperate Hamas are! They will do anything to save their skin. When they came to power in 2006 they got rid of all opposition by force!

If the U.S. had any integrity, it would assist in this reconciliation government. Sad we’re Bibi’s puppet.
When algerian resistance united it crushed french occupation.
Palestine is at war.. no one is giving up the guns.
Legitimate Chinese diplomacy. the west hates it
This is why two states solution wont work and will never work. Hamas know they have lost it
Western propaganda and double standard have faced off in Israel-Hamas
Mostly countries are moving to Russia and China Block
Haters gotta hate😂
An agreement bursting with irreconcilable disagreements is meaningless.
Did the west ever try to broker peace among Palestinian factions? History tells us who causes wars in the Middle East. It is not a show. Any effort for peace should be applauded.
