A Nanaimo, B.C., woman is expressing frustration over what she believes are repeat offenders causing damage in her neighborhood. Jessica Nordquist recounted a recent incident where she witnessed a man kicking her car door for no apparent reason, causing a substantial dent and breaking the handle. Nordquist expressed her dismay, stating that while it may be just property, it represents her hard-earned money in a time where survival is challenging. Despite being informed by responding officers that the man in the video was a repeat offender, the Nanaimo RCMP was unable to confirm this detail and has closed the file. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of property damage caused by individuals in the community, leaving residents like Nordquist feeling frustrated and helpless.

Bail…again, and again, and…something is clearly wrong in the courts.
Everybody go crazy🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Some say good ole Canada
Others tell the truth
long walks off a short pier
The current legal system under the NDP here in BC is the ideal business model for the few. Repeat offenders and those suffering from mental health crisis are revenue generating for cities looking to increase their budgets at the cost to taxpayers. These miscreants also offer job security for judges, lawyers, prosecutors, police, paramedics, firefighters, social workers, doctors, nurses, auto body shops, glass replacement shops, insurance companies, security companies, etc. Sad on so many levels.
Another day in Liberal/NDP Canada
They named droped him lol😂 charge him
So then the RCMP should investigate. It seems like they gave up already. What do they expect for the victims to do the work for them? If they can't do their job then either that they should resign or ease gun ownership so civilians can defend themselves!
Thing is that if they catch the guy and help him to rejoin society they are going to have to address why he is so angry. In doing so I would imagine that they would find that all manner of terrible crimes were done to this man. And now he doesn't care about the law because it wasn't there to protect him when he needed it. Our legal system seems more apt to side with the oppressor, especially in cases of RCMP abuse of power, but what it doesn't do is provide an easy way for the average person to get justice for crimes done against them. The state would rather delay, deny, and depose anyone who might bring forth a claim of RCMP assault, for instance. In short, punishing this man may not be the justice you think it is. There is more to this story. He is angry and lashing out because of how someone has treated him and perhaps he has a right to be. This kind of madness doesn't come from nowhere, it's a response. The problem with our legal system is that it doesn't care what the cause of that response is, whether that cause was a crime or not. This doesn't mean that he is not responsible for his actions, but what makes me sour is that he might face justice, but those who pushed him to this point will most likely not.
People ought to be angry about a system of institutionalized slavery that keeps the majority of us all exploited, tired and poor instead of prosperous from having received our fair share of the profit because we did the work that created all of it. Instead they show us videos of the result of capitalism and blame the victim.
another reason for open and concealed carry for RPAL holders…Canada and Canadians are no longer safe
That probably a guy going to work to go pay that carbon tax 😂
Don't need to call the police for everything. Handle it themselves.
Been there done that. Been a victim of junkies myself
Concrete? It's on video!!!!!!!!!!!
Get a detective on the case. Should be easy work. It's kind of comedic that they're struggling to catch this dork.
Btw, this has nothing to do with federal politics, stop inventing false narratives around drug usage. The reason why you have these types of incidents rests in the fact that mental health supports are weak and there's little to no community outreach. Nanaimo isn't huge. Someone knows him.
Sadly nothing can be done, he will be in custody until his next court appearance and release on time serve, and right back at it.
Clearly you’re not progressive enough for BC ! You need to be more tolerant.
Thanks to soft on crime legal system brought forth by Liberals.
Another reason we Canadians need Open carry for self defence.
Those who can change laws just don't care what happens on the streets, as long the judges, lawyers, politicians just keep making their pay cheques.
this whole country is a joke.. we need bail reform and expand prisons and court system NOW
Wheres all the homeless and mental advocates? Oh right, because when a hard working person loses money its no problem but when a citizen defends themselves from a vagrant or mental person, the advocates and lawyers are there for them right away. The normal citizens are left with debt and money that was taken from them to pay for extra insurance premiums which was supposed to pay to feed their kids 🤨
The system not longer protects its own citizens. It’s protects the criminals. It’s about time to take care of things yourself.
Catch and release offenders, yet the criminal doesn’t have to pay for damages on going.
Dont repair it now……..keep it…..compound it……dont waste🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
This is why people feel that the police, the RCMP do not do their job, you can guarantee they want to be paid. Victims are never helped. Excuses Excuses Excuses from law enforcement.
Of course the cops did nothing.
Since when did any so-called law enforcement care about protecting their citizens, especially the cowards who fill the RCMP.
Prayers
Police are useless these days. Canadians have to create the people's militia to be able to protect themselves. During the Soviet Union time in Russia we have called these groups "Druzhina" and they worked very well.
he also feels damaged but its ok at least you got a car, in this climate?
Trudeau’s Canada!
It seems only and only one person can solve this all in Canada’s new government and that will be the Conservative leader
The insurance paid him so they can double their cost.
Canada protects criminals more than law abiding citizens
New Canada 😞
even if they charged him where would they get the money from? you can't sue someone who is on the street
Useless cops and judges
How lazy
This is a big part of why I left vancouver Island. Got sick of this kind of thing happening constantly.
Keep on voting NDP liberals
"Cauasian man" yeah, the usual suspects Lol
They are releasing these people because prison is business. The government will spend more money keeping these offenders in jail than outside. It is not about justice it's all about money.
RCMP are incompetent.
