Anybody remember Microsoft Photosynth project years ago? Need to boot that back up with updated ai.
let's be real… this is being or will be used for surveillance and eventually weaponry
black mirror !
I want to be able to put my VR headset on and go visit any place in the world
Why not use Second Life to train AI where it could encounter both new environments plus interact with humans versus other AI?
Has no one seen the Matrix?
Is this content already under new commandment?
And for what problem is this a solution? Or does it creates problems, more than it gives solutions? Reality is so more interesting than these artificial programs…
Not watching 60 minutes any more, who is running by Israeli and American propaganda.
The purpose of AI is give us a breathtaking simulation of the natural world that was destroyed to create it.
grok better
Will this make us more or less curious
…But does it give us clean FBX/.Blend files? That's the devil in the detail. If you don't have a 3D file from that, it's pretty useless, no matter how cute it looks.
Corporate propaganda hard at work, trying to convince you AI is going to solve so many problems when it’s just a ruse to extract as much of your data as possible and sell it to other companies and countries. This tech is great but ALL the companies behind them are evil and ONLY want to make money.
Once the Genie is out of the bottle, you can’t put it back in…
"Video games are going to get more realistic"
The goal is to put artists out of work while creating subpar content
This is insanely impressive, and makes you wonder about our own world
Realistic title of video:
Google makes AI world-generation & AI plays this game while humans mine coal 24/7 to power it.
Youre in a simulation right now, jokes on you 😛
It won't mimic humans until it has a body.
The only problem is that in order to generate a golden retriever with wings it will need a few mega watts of electricity!
AI is so pathetically over rated, I simply cannot see what the media is so excited about. Oh look, a Labrador with wings! Who cares?!? All AI appears to be is a high speed render and search engine. Other than that it is bland and uninteresting. Apparently it is going to take over the world though and no one is going to have a job. I call BS on that.
They are facinating you with nothing. Its ARTIFICIAL intelligence, it has nothing to do with advancment for mankind, it does nothing for the soul.
Fix the plastic and pollution problems first, because we don't have a REAL world for much longer!
How dumb, playing with unknown tech while everything dies. Including us, just so a handful of idiots can have even more money.
finally, now we know that a tree doesnt make a sound when it falls in the woods. because there is know tree until we see it.
we are cooked!
PS
Ai stands for angel interface, they are building vehicles for fallen angels…😉
just kidding
Asking a superficial intelligence what a subject in a painting is feeling? Because as a human you can’t figure it out yourself? Sad………..
Anyone else think it's sketchy that they didn't ask the interviewer for an image to use? They could have pregenerated that stuff.
not impressive. hows this helping me get rid of my debt or getting me higher pay on my job? can we please make something that helps us for real.
The AI is proto conscious
We are going to upload our consciousness
I see the value of things like identifying a painting name and artist, or using large amounts of medical data to pinpoint the cause of cancer, but going further to create things that aren't real… that's where it's a slippery slope as it improves to the point of being realistic-looking. So a (wannabe) dictator can send out a fake video of the opposition to cause chaos (or even a war). How will that be controlled? And we know governments are often very very slow in enacting laws, and by then it may be too late. Not at all saying we should've advance technology — look at the basics of farming using machinery so people don't have to manually pick some crops — but with the pace of this tech in today's age of misinformation that can influence large populations quickly like a virus… how will that all be managed?
If this stuff is so great, how come it butcher's? My dictation, when I try to do dictation, to give a comment on this story. I am just going to keep talking to see how much it butchers are. When I try to talk and say something to this microphone button.
Exciting times but we’re still not there yet. My co. is working on simulating all of human existence that will take us into extraordinary territory.
This interviewer sounds so sceptical and apathetic. Get with the program dude!
Neo you are living in The Matrix.
good video but 60 minutes show always sounds like a paid advertisement
