In 2026, gaming enthusiasts can anticipate major developments in the industry, highlighted by elite new hardware and the long-awaited launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. Valve is set to unveil three new devices: the Steam Frame, a standalone VR headset capable of playing both VR and flat panel games; a powerful Steam Machine designed to bridge the gap between console and PC gaming; and an intuitive Steam Controller featuring dual trackpads for enhanced gameplay experiences.
On the PlayStation front, Sony is reportedly launching a 27-inch gaming monitor with impressive specs, along with new wireless speakers optimized for seamless audio experiences. Speculation is also rife about a possible new PlayStation handheld that could redefine portable gaming.
Adding to the nostalgic charm, Nintendo is revamping the Virtual Boy, allowing players to revisit retro titles through a modern lens. As for GTA 6, expected on November 19, its release is eagerly awaited, though delays remain a possible concern. What are your top picks for 2026 in gaming? Let us know!

I’m wait for Steam Deck 2😅
Wasn't there a Steam Machine released back in 2015? Is this just a new version? And you teased a "new GameCube" in the title, but I didn't hear anything about it.
Just wanna know what devices GTA 6 will be playable on
New GameCube?
That's not half life alyx. that's ghost town XD
You say Steam Frame is a standalone headset which is true, but I just want to add that one of the biggest use cases seems to be wireless PCVR at a quality that's never been reached before.
Dude we are gonna get AGI first before gta 6 which will let us just create a gta 6 clone in a week.
