In the latest episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, the one and only Guy Fieri makes a return visit to a joint in Denver that is known for serving up some seriously wild and outrageous bites. Back in 2013, Guy first visited this spot and fell in love with their Tavern Tots and the legendary Bombshell Sandwich.
What makes the Bombshell Sandwich so special, you ask? Well, this ultimate sandwich features house-made pastrami, Swiss cheese, a fried egg, slaw, and brown mustard all piled high between two slices of rye bread. It’s a flavor explosion that will have your taste buds dancing with delight.
To recreate this mouthwatering sandwich at home, you will need:
– House-made pastrami
– Swiss cheese
– Fried egg
– Coleslaw
– Brown mustard
– Rye bread
To assemble the Bombshell Sandwich, start by layering the pastrami and Swiss cheese on one slice of rye bread. Next, add the fried egg on top, followed by a generous helping of slaw. Spread some brown mustard on the other slice of rye bread and place it on top to complete the sandwich.
Toast the sandwich in a panini press or on a grill until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Slice it in half, admire the beautiful layers, and dig in!
Whether you’re a die-hard fan of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives or just looking to add some excitement to your lunch routine, the Bombshell Sandwich is sure to become a new favorite in your recipe repertoire. Get ready to experience the real deal, off-the-hook, outrageous flavors that Guy Fieri himself couldn’t get enough of. Enjoy!

I could barely understand the second “chef”…hopefully tonight will change things. MAGA!!! You live here, speak English!!
🤤🤤🤤
changed chefs but still cranking out the same bomb looking food.
Is that a Ruben sandwich?🥪🥪 Imagine that was Arby's .
Can somebody tell me the difference between kosher and normal salt ( sorry if a silly question)
I LOVE this show but what's odd is Guy's restaurants really aren't that great. They are so average.
What chef does not do eggs?
I want to go to this restaurant next time I go to Denver. I am a proud Colorado boy!!!

Gourmet means high quality, in ingredients and preparation. If its "almost" gourmet then it means its not high quality
Guy has lost a ton of weight
It looked great until the runny egg showed its face. Ruined it for me.
if youre smart lol
Very interesting seeing the old chef come back to the restaurant either just to interview or as a customer. I guess it shows that there's no bad blood between them
i do wonder if the food is as good as when the film crew leaves
Guy Fieri doesn't come across as an exercise type of Guy.
More like a bulimic type og Guy….
I always like these revisited episodes because I know a lot of these businesses have struggled over the past ~decade, so to see these places flourish is wholesome. Guy and DDD nation has a pretty big following, enough so that people take road trips around the country to check some places off their list.
Also damn those pork rinds looked good.
