HARRY WINSTON
In 1973, I moved into an apartment in a brownstone townhouse in the East 60's between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue in Manhattan, NYC. One of the residents was a son of Harry Winston, either Ronald or Bruce. He owned a battery-powered, bright-red, convertible, luxury, sports car that he parked on the curb in front of the building. At night, he recharged his car by using a long, heavy-duty extension cord connected to his car and to an electrical outlet in the lobby of the building on the ground floor.
When I saw this one night, I asked the resident manager of the building who owned the car, and he told me the car owner's name and said he was a son of Harry Winston. I did not mention what I had seen to the manager. Mr Winston was effectively charging his car without paying for the electricity he consumed. The residents paid monthly rentals on a lease and no separate payments for electric power.
Super leuke film! Genieten van de subtiele humor van Falk en de rest.
Falk is fabulous! The rest of the cast ain't bad either! The twisty plot is great!
