Hezbollah has reported that three of its fighters were killed in an Israeli drone strike near the town of Houla, in southern Lebanon. This incident has intensified tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border.
Both Israel and Hezbollah have engaged in exchanges of fire, with Israel deploying fighter jets, missiles, drones, and artillery, while Hezbollah has targeted Israeli positions with antitank missiles. In response, Hezbollah released drone footage showing attacks on Israeli barracks in Birkat Risha.
The situation has escalated further with sonic booms, believed to be from Israeli jets, being heard across Lebanon. These loud, building-shaking sounds have added to the sense of tension in the region.
Observers suggest that Israel’s actions may be a strategic move to test Hezbollah’s weapon capabilities. The ongoing clashes between the two groups could potentially lead to further escalations in the coming days.
