The recent tragic events surrounding the Israeli hostage, Carmel Gat, have left many in shock and mourning. In a recent episode of “60 Minutes,” Alon Gat spoke with reporter Lesley Stahl about his sister, Carmel, who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7. Alon passionately pleaded for his sister’s safe return, sharing how she had helped other hostages in Gaza by teaching them yoga.
Sadly, Carmel was one of six hostages killed by Hamas last week, leaving a heartbreaking void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. The story of Carmel Gat is a reminder of the harsh realities of conflict and the devastating impact it can have on innocent lives.
“60 Minutes” is known for its hard-hitting investigative reports, and this episode was no exception. The broadcast, which has been on air since 1968, continues to shed light on important stories and issues from around the world.

REST IN PEACE. THE WORLD SHOULD FIGHT TOGETHER AGAINST RADICAL MUSLIMS
Carmel studied occupational therapy with my daughter -in-law. We set up a place for her at our Passover Seder. She could have helped so many people including Gazans. What Hamas did was evil. We will continue to love her.

hi
I would like you to please correct the text from killed to murdered.
Carmel Gat was murdered by the terrorist organization Hamas after she was kidnapped from her home in the territory of the State of Israel on 07.10.23.
FACT: On October 7th, Palestinians celebrated in the streets, distributed cakes, and helped kidnap Israelis to Gaza, into the tunnels. They also, in exchange for money, kept the kidnapped individuals in their homes to blend them into the population.

The passing of Carmel Gat is a painful reminder of the harshness of reality. I wholeheartedly agree that her memory must be kept alive and that we must never forget those who have lost their lives in such tragic circumstances.
