Ukraine is facing a critical moment in its conflict with Russia, as the country experiences massive airstrikes and bombardments. The latest drone strikes on Kyiv have left residents seeking shelter in subways as explosions echo through the capital. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has described the missile and drone attacks as some of the largest of the war, with energy facilities being targeted and power and water supplies disrupted in certain regions.
In response to the ongoing attacks, Ukraine has reached out to its European neighbors for assistance. Amidst the chaos and destruction, there are efforts being made in Ukraine to enhance its defense capabilities. One major development is Ukraine’s pursuit of building its own long-range missiles, a move that could potentially shift the balance of power in the region.
An interview with Alexander Kamyshin, the Ukrainian Minister of Strategic Industries, sheds light on the country’s efforts to produce long-range missiles. Additionally, Frank Ledwidge, a senior lecturer in strategic studies at Portsmouth University and former UK military intelligence officer, provides insights on the implications of Ukraine developing its own long-range missiles.
As the conflict between Ukraine and Russia escalates, the question remains: how close is Ukraine to building its own long-range missiles? The outcome of these developments could have far-reaching consequences for the ongoing conflict and the region as a whole.

Why is the World Media accepting of Russian attacks on the Ukrainian population, yet when Ukraine strikes military targets inside Russia It's condemned?🤨
Statements and news like that is the reason I think Russia is attacking the energy system. Without energy you can't produce those weapons, or any weapon at all. So they are preemtive stricking the energy system to avoid those missiles being largely produced.
If stay in your lane was a person lol
Beggar of the West put a life of Ukrainian people in the danger cannot fight with Russia but bagger asked to Europe to come into the fight this is dream is we are not going to pay for them
I see a lot of guys in good shape to go to the front to fight.
Germany already paid the price in the second world war do another war in the region take their revenge directions record the generation news when was Maine made against European people
Germany will have to give the Taurus missile or Ukraine may blow the gas pipeline going to Germany.
Then Putins Karen Nation gets pounded and they cry calling out the UN for not condemning Ukraine… 😂
Long Live Free Ukraine! 🇺🇦🇺🇸🇪🇺.
Ukraine is going to be a super country very soon…. And Russia will be highly threatened and humbled
My man Nick Connelly’s working a long shift in Ukraine and not backing down. Soon he’ll be holding a rifle. You go bro lol
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WEST POLITICIANS? DOES NORTH KOREA, IRAN AND OTHERS PUT ANY LIMITATIONS ON THE WEAPONS THEY GIVE RUSSIA?UKRAINE HAS A RIGHT TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AND ANY MILITARY AREA IS A FAIR TARGET. INDEED THE WEST HAS TIED UKRAINE 🇺🇦 HANDS. WHAT KIND OF ALLIES ARE WE? UKRAINE GAVE UP THEIR NUCLEAR WEAPONS, NO OTHER COUNTRY WILL EVER DO THAT ON FALSE PROMISES FROM THE WEST THAT WE HAVE YOUR BACK. WE HAVE BEEN ASLEEP DREAMING OF A GLOBAL VILLAGE THAT DOESN'T EXIST, THE WORLD IS A NASTY PLACE AND GETTING NASTIER. STOP SENDING BILLIONS TO CORRUPT COUNTRIES THAT SIDE WITH OUR ENEMIES, AND OPEN THE DOOR TO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO LOVE OR ALLEGIANCE TO THE WEST AND ALL WE STAND FOR. IF WE DON'T REBUILD OUR ARMIES STRONGLY AND SOON,WE ARE DOOMED.
Ukraine is not having to ask Elon Musk of Anything, as it is the United States that has the access time, if Elon says No, he will be shown the door
As a Dane I am proud of our support to Ukraine! Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦!!!
It's not just defending the cities, Russia is using air bases outside the ATACMS range to launch 500lb gliding bombs that are largely responsible for propelling the Russian advances in Eastern Ukraine.
They cant massively produce simple shells but somehow they will produce complex long range systems in scale
The United Nations Org. is spineless.
The restrictions should be lifted so that Ukraine can retaliate hitting war infrastructures that can minimize or eliminate destructions of power, water and civilians targets by Russia
To little too late
Ukraine asked for it
That dog is the saddest creature on the planet😥😥😥😥
I had a vision of the aftermath of Russia using nuclear weapons! I think that it's a matter of time when Russia is going to use nuclear weapons so some needs to be done before that happens.
Look, Ukraine is not Afghanistan; when they get their hands on weapons, there's know-how about back engineering, and given resources and a bit of time, they'll soon have advanced weapons themselves. But it will take a serious production line and cover for this, preferrably underground spaces to do it. Interesting to see what they'll manage to come up with, we've already seen some steps in this area.
If Russia is not responding with nukes that doesn’t mean that it was for fashioned show ..so don’t pressure Russia loose there patience.. then it will be very hard for whole Ukrainian…
Putin runs a war like a symphony orchestra.
The reason this war is taking so long is, that Ukraine isn't given the capability to strike at long distances. Russia is receiving outside long-range missiles, and here we are holding back on long-range missiles to Ukraine. We need to stop playing around with allowing Russia to have an upper hand in this wrongful attack on Ukrainian citizens.
Peace is impossible when countries with military capacity are controlled by dictator.
