Naengmyeon is awesome for hot summer days. It's served in South Korea and in Korean restaurants in NYC but the North Korean version is the most famous. As for the flavor, people also add vinager and or hot mustard. There's also a variant dish called Bibim Naengmyeon which adds chili paste to the noodles ala bibimbap
