Increasing demands for woman who fled following deadly Stanley Park dog attack to step forward

A large dog fatally mauled a family’s pet in Stanley Park, Vancouver, leading to growing calls for the owner of the dog to come forward. The attack took place near the Second Beach concession, where the dog snapped up a Maltipoo named ‘Sky’ while the family was on an outing. Despite bystanders rushing to separate the dogs, the large dog and its owner fled the scene, leaving Sky critically injured and ultimately passing away on the way to a vet. Animal control officials are still trying to track down the owner of the dog involved in the fatal attack, as captured on video by several witnesses. The community is calling for the responsible party to come forward and take accountability for the incident.
