In a recent series of attacks on Hezbollah pagers and radios in Lebanon, concerns have been raised about the safety of electronic devices. The mysterious explosions have left the Lebanese people anxious and questioning the security of their own devices. The question on everyone’s mind: can your phone blow up?
The attacks have sparked fear and confusion among the population, with many wondering how these explosions were triggered and whether their own devices could be at risk. On a recent episode of Tech 24, experts broke down the mechanics behind the attacks and compared them to other major cyber hacks like Stuxnet and An0m. They also addressed the pressing question of whether or not everyday citizens should be worried about the security of their own devices.
This latest wave of attacks has highlighted the vulnerability of electronic devices, raising concerns about the potential for remote device attacks. With technology becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives, the idea of our devices being compromised is a frightening one.
As the investigation into the Hezbollah attacks continues, it is important for individuals to remain vigilant about the security of their own devices. While the specifics of these attacks remain unclear, it is always a good idea to take precautions to protect your personal information and devices from potential threats.
The events in Lebanon serve as a stark reminder of the potential risks that come with our increasing reliance on technology. In a world where our phones, laptops, and other devices contain a wealth of personal information, ensuring their security should be a top priority for all of us.

Thanks for clarifying this
I give it 5 years when this is a mainstream method
Remember the movie "The Winter Soldier" and Cap had to stop the launch of a weapon that could take out all enemies worldwide whenever desired?
😂😅😂😅😂😅
Not if you‘re not a terrorist.
as long as they are not made in taiwan or china… your devices are safe. manufacturers from these countries doesn't follow international standards.
"Just like pagers and walkie talkies, women's vibrators can also malfunction and pose a risk of explosion."
🤯
Several have commented about the 2 children that were killed. Very sad. There is allways collateral damage in war. This time, it was very limited. I hate that any kids were harmed, but find a war where civilians don't suffer. Israel has taken a lot of heat for civilian deaths in Gaza as they tried to get at the Hamas fighters hiding among them. So, now Israel conduct a very targeted attack with very few civilians injured or killed, just a handful. If there were more, we would be hearing about it now. They are still criticized. Hezbollah (Hz) has been rocketing Israel for a year. Hz often targets civilians. So, Israel found a way to attack Hz leaders and senior people in a very targeted way. My hat is off to Israel. As William Tecumseh Sherman (Union General in the American Civil War) said, "War is Cruelty and it cannot be refined." Better known as War is Hell.
It will be safer to purchase communication equipment directly from China in the future!
Yip . I’ll be evaluating where my next tech comes from . Less is more and it won’t be tech from the west . 🌎😳
Outlandish….. Dude phones blow up with lithium all the time. Outlandish that Israel is a welfare state with nuclear ordinance
I think that it was a frequency issue. The devices that blew up were all analog. Pagers and walkie talkies. Cell phones are all digital these days. All you would have to do is find the right frequency , send it and would break like the glass and the opera singer. It sounds to me like this was just a test. All you would need to carry that out would be a chip. The devices all came from Taiwan which is the leading maker and distributor of chips. What if a chip was made that would explode just by sending out the right frequency? It doesn’t sound like an Israeli attack. But who knows. Anyone anywhere In the world could have done it. And it could have just been one person with a radio frequency set up .
Not long ago Lebanese citizens pleaded with Macron to run Lebanon because they were so fed up with all the corruption and the fanatical Jihadists that control their lives.
00:15 "you may be wondering if you cant trust the phone in your pocket"
Easy. Do not join Hezbollah.
I don't suppose that same concept applies to rockets fired at random civilian targets in Israel.
They call it radio heat waves + shortening the device turns it into a bomb by shortening the battery. Samsung used to have this issue some time ago. Old lithium batteries can àlso explode like this.
my landline looks pretty good atm
Is it say , government sponsored work to justify their —
the only thing the french know is how to surrender
Off course it can brust because only common holds it 😢. Elites are safe 😅
Abdul, why is that approaching carrier pigeon making a ticking sound
It could contaminate everywhere and possibility of copycats.
Poor cry-babies… Life is so tough nowadays for terrorists…
CIA did it
To assess your safety, answer this question: do you support Hezbollah, Hamas or any other Iranian foreign agent?
If the answer is yes, you are not safe.
Israel is the best country in the world, also the people are the nicest. Pls dont blow up my phone.
If you aren't a Hezbollah terrorist and didn't get your phone from your Hezbollah communication network, then you will be fine.
By using pager techniques, possibly blast (explode) android phone.
Dear France 24,
Tell president macron take care.
Yes, a phone made by cousin Mo Saad
I see western media is gloating and trying hard to give a positive spin on pager explosions. Its not a technological feat to perform this kind of nasty stuff. Its all about the willingness to go down this drain in which ordinary western gadgets are being used for destructive purposes besides already being spy devices
Okay this video is reassuring somehow.
Thank you👍
No. They're pagers and walkie talkies. If you're not using a sketchy pager and/or walkie talkie, you're fine.
The cabal always shows you what they are going to do to you before they do it. America will sound like a popcorn machine when the direct energy weapons in space overload your dozens of lithium batteries just before the election. just kidding! But it would make a great book.
Black ops 2 is becoming real
Jewish terror is rising.
Lebanon was a good country until Hezbollah moved in. H had been kicked out of Jordan after trying to overthrow the gov't.
Many of the citizens are in despair … the massive explosion at the port horrified everyone. (That wasn't a terror attack, incompetence left fertilizer in the storage warehouse too long. Incompetence.)
And We used to worry about Car Bombs…
