locals in this region tend to be arrogant and haughty as well- not all of them. some very hospitable as well, a bewildering mixture of arrogance and hospitable.
What about Egypt? Have u been there?
I have to agree, as a general term, that part of the world tends to be sterile, bland and boring.
Congratulations 🎉 on your 3000th video, Gabriel. It's so gratifying for all of us followers. 🤗
Coron is amazing! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
WARmerica is easily the worst. 2018 study: “After World War II, U.S. Regime Has Killed 20-30 Million People” (mostly civilians).
Yeah, places like that are low in crime and "safe", except for visitors being falsely imprisoned, or much worse things that can't be written here in comments.
Anyone else here in 2029?
100 countried and 89 of them are Greece
No you haven't been to 100 countries according to UN list .
LOL – Looks like Gabe will not be doing any commercials for the Qatari, Kuwaiti or Bahraini Tourist Boards!
Yes! Spent one day in Dubai, connecting though to Kuala Lumpur. I’m so glad I didn’t extend my stay there and can confidently say I have no reason to ever return.
WHOS TRAVELLED MORE THEN YOU AND YOU STAY HEALTHY. BANGLADESH ID SAY THE WORST
You have been to another one not counted by the UN too. Palestine 🙂
👍
for me, India is the worst place in your vids. not all, there are some parts in north-east where you are away from cities and up in Himalayas which seems clean and not that polluted, but the rest is too much for me.
sorry India
also, israel, dubai and all those gulf countries are not on my list, of course.
Hello. Gabriel.
Craig here:) Greece or Hawaii excellent fim! Now your in Cali. Great! What next traveller? I hope you decide soon.
From England.
I can't watch this without thinking how, in Nova Scotia Canada, what you are doing has been made illegal and subject to fines of $25,000. What is that you may ask – well, walking in the woods has been deemed too risky for starting wildfires, when temps are in the low 30s centigrade and conditions are too dry… thoughts?
The Greece man lol
Honestly i'd rather live in India, Pakistan or any other south American city than in Dubai. As you said the cities there are soulless.
Persian Gulf: Exists
Arabian Sea: Exists
Arabian Gulf: There's no room for more stupidity (Gulf of America I'm looking to you).
I thought there was poverty in those countries, where the leaders keep all the money
Yeah Gabe – that would be a big worry for me when traveling abroad is the risk factor involved with ‘breaking some forbidden rule’. Some foreign destinations can be extremely scary & the next thing you know you are now literally kidnapped & your freedom is taken away and all you done was just be a traveler with good intentions. We can make a fast quick list of world travelers who have been interrogated then temporarily detained to be ultimately told to leave the country then banned to return. Bald. Backpack Ben. Otto Warmbier. Sabbatical. Charlie Walker. I think Harald Balder had a run in somewhere. It can be a dangerous world
Agree with your opinion about those countries. But I am happy I went to Qatar and UAE each for a couple of days. I want to visit Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain too in a similar way. I also agree that Doha is nice.
Hi Gabriel, California in itself is beautiful, much to see and do. California has many beautiful parks and beaches aside from their incredible cities. California maybe the most impressive state of all the states in the union.
Gabe come to South Korea
Oman and Yemen are far more interesting destinations. Although, I haven't been to Yemen but the pictures look amazing. Oman has much to offer.
I've been to 100 countries myself. You somehow managed to miss Oman! Oman is the best country on the Arabian Peninsula. Not only is it much cheaper than the others, the food is way better, the nature is amazing too… especially all the way south near the border with Yemen…. incredible waterfalls, desert Oasis, wild camels, awesome ruins. Its worth going back just to check out Oman. Iran is amazing too….. I wouldn't consider it part of the Persian Gulf at all, it's more like Central Asia. Its one of my favorite countries, nothing like the boring Gulf countries. Saudi Arabia definitely has some interesting places….. How did you miss Medina?? The prophets mosque is one of the most fascinating places I have ever been. HEGRA in Saudi Arabia and "The Edge of the World" are must see places. I mostly agree with you that this is one of worst places to travel overall in the world, but even it has some real nice places. I personally would have to say Brunei is my least favorite country….. I wasn't big on Kuwait either!
I have posted hundreds of videos, no AI-generated clickbait thumbnail this time.
Kuwait has a bad reputation as well when it comes to restrictions with tourists and even the people who live there. I do not think that they have many tourists anyway may be just passers by
Thank you, Gabriel. I like your style. Doha, and Abu Dhabi both have wonderful modern airports that are increasingly important for international travel. So you might wind up going there even if you don't really want to.
Thé Gulf states created this high rise and indoor mall culture which is a late awakening after the world got tired of malls and sky scrapers. Gulf states were just developed in the last 40-50 years and tried to catch up with the west and copy it, but then the west has already moved away in a different direction.
Hmmmm….such a different perspective from "Yes Theory/Seek Discomfort". . . There are beautiful people everywhere, but not so much in the cities🤷💔
Dublin was a major disappointment.
Super expensive, felt rather crimey, bad food, with a tourist trap vibe, and didn't even seem very Irish.
So many better cities in Europe.
Apparently north Saudi Arabia has greenery and snow.
California 🇺🇲 tour 👍🍻
Hopefully you make it to Pakistan one day, it's a bit of hassle to travel there but a fascinating place.
Gabriel is a true trailblazer in the travel vlogging world. He paved the way for so many of us, and if there were a Hall of Fame for travel vloggers, he’d be an unquestionable inductee. The fact that, after all these years, Gabriel can still captivate audiences — holding their attention with nothing more than a story while walking through a park, without relying on flashy visuals — is undeniable proof that he’s not just a travel vlogger, but a master storyteller and a true master of the craft.
Similar experience in Bahrain, they took me to police station because I was just near a construction site, they released me after about one hour
