when are you going back to India?
Beautiful city. Thanks for showing us Gabe.
WOW, where is everybody? Downtown used to be so busy, promenade stroll, little shops, ice cream… All different now.
For tomorrow, I suggest Bardejov (bar-de-yov). Its city centre is UNESCO enlisted. And if you have extra time, check out the open-air museum near Bardejov (a skansen) + the Spa near there 😉
I visited Kosice in 2019, would definitely recommend it to others thank you for sharing.
You should go see Jakubov Palac downtown.
Beautiful city ! 😊❤🇧🇦🗻🏔⛰
Incredible sites and art Gabriel. Thank you
Marty from veryhungrynomads is from Slovakia
next Bardejov or Levoča
👍👍👍
Beautiful Hungarian town, again, in another country. So sad
You have just shown the main street with the attraction……what about the rest?? 😉
I am curious where will you go next? Maybe back to Poland? To Rzeszow (by Flixbus) and then to Gdansk
You missed the famous outskirts of Kosice 😍 Have you ever heard of Slovensky Raj? 🤡
Very cool city!!! 😎💙✌
Thank you in Slovak is pronunced like "dak we em"
Thank you I have really enjoyed these travel experiences from Poland and Slovakia .Such a complete departure from the crazy over touristic development of otheŕ European cities. Also the food looked so wholesome and traditional.I am sure as has been stated by other commentators these videos will hopefully inspire more visits to the country of Slovakia.❤❤❤
Cool town. I have not seen it yet in my visits to Slovakia, but now it's on the list. I love to climb bell towers, too!
Looks spectacular
Please let me see all the angel statue.
Not your phone, and a shield. But thankyou interesting Slovakia. I think where Melania Trump is from.
Never heard of that city, it looks pretty nice…
Cities in eastern Europe that were once part of the Habsburg or Austro-Hungarian empire can be quite amazing for their architecture – this largely derives from the baroque period inspired by Italian baroque architecture that gets fused with more northerly and oriental styles. Many cities in Poland and Ukraine exhibit this style like Lviv not to mention places like Prague and Kiev and numerous others. The onion domes are an oriental influence.
Thanks again Gabriel for Touring Kosice. Very interesting in the caves.
Is Jagermeister a Slovak drink? Never seen you drinking it before as far as I can recall. Just curious.
💐 💐
I enjoyed your visit to a new city. That museum/restroom was a cool find.
nice…☘👍
I AM interested HOW IS THE WINE AND BEER in SLOVAKIA ??
is this Fico pro russian "Z" country🏴☠ thats why NO tourists STAY AWAY 🕳
For somebody who likes running 🙂 The Košice Peace Marathon is an annual road marathon held in Košice, Slovakia, since 1924. It is the oldest marathon in Europe and the third-oldest in the world (after the Boston Marathon, first held in 1897, and the Yonkers Marathon, 1907).
I was just in Kosice two weeks ago for the first time. Loved it. What a timing for this video.
You need to visit Nitra too! (oldest city in slovakia)
Czechoslovakia was founded 1918, bevor the communist era. The two countries have different past, different development, different future. That background information is good to know, to know more. There is so much in that city that I do not like at all. I´m Slovakian myself. All totally different since I was last time there. Much too much of touristic crap. Flowers in that desert? Eastern part of Slovakia has a huge problem with not having enough water due to climate change. Austria-Hungary that is where the similarity come from.
My man, not even most Slovaks travel as far east as Kosice…. Not to mention foreigners
See the island of Žirje in Croatia. An ideal perfect island for a Mediterranean vacation….Better than Greece.
Beautiful! I love this serie of videos, I didn't know Slovakia and want to go there now. But food seems super expensive for Europe (and I live in France)…
The 1850 census—the first to record ethnic composition—in Košice showed approximately 41% Slovaks, 33% Hungarians, 12% Germans, and 7% Jews.
Polish and Slovak are very similar languages and depending on the topic of discussion or context, a mutually intelligible conversation can be held using the two different languages. In some other instances, however, it can be more difficult to understand each other. It is kind of difficult to explain to native English speakers as I can't really think of a language that is similarly close to English – maybe something like Dutch or Norwegian but they are far more different.
2:35 Slovaks would alredy complain thats too many people 😀
😍
Slovakia – a corrupt country with a prime minister and dictator Fico.
Yes, but what does it look like outside the small historical center?
How was the jaeger with the food?
