You know my dad recognizes nothing about modern Guangzhou. I showed him the walk through that pedestrian area and he saw literally nothing he recognizes. He remembered Beijing road having a different name when he lived there. There’s just nothing that he knows about Guangzhou anymore. Even his childhood home was buried under modern construction. I know my grandma’s house is still there as it technically was willed to me but since I don’t go back too often I let my uncles and aunts handle that stuff. I just get reports about the place every three months. It’s just odd right now.

Geez what is it with Guangzhou and how people dress. I swear it’s like people dress the same with clothes that don’t really fit right or are really old. It looks like the 80s or something. You see it especially in the Cantonese with clothes that don’t really fit right or stuff that is too tight. I think the Cantonese are cursed with an odd waist size or something. Me and my folks have that really odd waist sizes that you can’t compensate for. It’s kinda why I wear sweats a lot because at least they stretch.

10-15yrs ago when I hear Hong Kong movie actors moved to mainland China to live, I couldn't fathom how they could leave a central hub like Hong Kong, but the more I explored cities in China I understand. China cities beat Hong Kong in spaces, ginormous spaces. Your new hair cut is so handsome 😂😂
