2nd, behind Magumba
As someone who loves the Azores and likes Madeira a a lot, you can only really visit the Azores late March to late September then the direct flights stop .I’m talking from the UK. Most people have never heard of the them. However you can go to Madeira all year round and it’s very popular everyone knows it and has loads of flights always available. It’s popular at Christmas time as the island is really into it, a reason to avoid for me but obviously others would love it. I’ts a lot cheaper if you get chance to plan ahead 🍄
