Venezuela’s political crisis continues to escalate as opposition leader emerges from hiding and President Maduro rejects any attempts to overthrow his presidency. Last week’s disputed election has only added fuel to the fire, with both sides claiming victory and accusing the other of fraud.
Opposition leader, whose name has not been mentioned, made a bold statement on Saturday, declaring, “We have never been so strong.” This defiant sentiment comes after weeks of turmoil and uncertainty in Venezuela, as the political landscape remains deeply divided.
President Maduro, on the other hand, has denounced what he calls attempts to “usurp the presidency,” signaling a refusal to back down in the face of mounting pressure. The situation in Venezuela is at a critical juncture, with tensions running high and the country’s future hanging in the balance.
As the international community watches closely, it remains to be seen how the power struggle in Venezuela will unfold. With both sides firmly entrenched in their positions, a peaceful resolution seems increasingly unlikely. The coming days and weeks will undoubtedly be crucial in determining the path forward for this troubled nation.

Just imagine, your own citizens being killed/missing, announcing you've won elections by your administration and not showing any evidence of the final results to show any facts, after a week of general elections, still no results shown. Instead, you send threats to arrest your opposition, destroy their office. Then say, it was a free and fair election. Expecting sanctions to be lifted. Go figure.
