As fans began flocking to the desert for the kickoff of festival season, Maren Morris helped usher in the weekend on a big note. On her 35th birthday no less, Morris effortlessly graced the stage at White Claw® Sessions Powered by Billboard for an evening of sipping, singing, and dancing on Thursday, April 10. By the pool, at the Palm Springs Saguaro Hotel, the singer treated fans to a mix of classic hits like “The Middle” and “The Bones,” her cover of Billy Idol’s “Dancing With Myself,” and a taste of new music from her upcoming album Dreamsicle, set to be released on May 9.
At one moment in the show, the genre-blending singer got real about dating before performing an unreleased track, “Bed No Breakfast.” “I wrote this kind of at the end of my writing cycle for this record, and I’ve been doing some dating for the first time,” Morris candidly told the audience. “Most of it’s been just okay – and that’s fine – but I’ve learned a lot about myself in the process, and I’ve learned that after I hook up with you, I really want you to get your Uber and go home. In the most respectful way. And I wrote this with my friend Delacey. Mostly out of me trying to make her laugh but then this is what came out of it.”
Before Morris hit the White Claw® branded stage, the festivities started with DJ DR on the decks and an opening performance from the dazzling Maude Latour. In a custom matching two-piece (that paid homage to Jane Fonda-era workouts and roller derbies), she warmed up the crowd as the sun set over the Coachella Valley.
After a quick huddle in the dressing room with her band – and some birthday cake – Morris was ready to give her all onstage, thanking White Claw® for bringing everyone together.
Not only did attendees receive an early taste of the music festival vibes, the crowd was also treated to any flavor of White Claw® their hearts desired. On top of original White Claw® Hard Seltzer, White Claw® Surge, Clawtails by White Claw ®, and White Claw® Zero Proof flavors, there were two custom cocktail options featuring White Claw® Vodka in honor of the birthday girl – Cherry Me Through and Mango In The Middle. In the sweltering desert heat, there’s nothing like a refreshing beverage, and White Claw® had the audience covered.
In addition to their variety of flavors, fans had the opportunity to grab custom White Claw® black totes, snap a shot at the fish-eye photo booth and enjoy the poolside atmosphere of the Palm Springs Saguaro Hotel.
From can’t-miss shows and fly away festival experiences to partnerships with top charting artists and exclusive fan giveaways, White Claw® is no stranger to the music space. The White Claw® Sessions Powered by Billboard will continue to bring fans closer to the music they love throughout 2025.
